These skates are not only gorgeous but they feel very sturdy. They were stiff out of the box but felt comfortable and like they were already molding to my feet when I put them on the next day. The wheels are great for indoor and outdoor skating as well. I'm a beginner adult skater and I've practiced at home on carpet and at a rink. If you don't want to break the bank and you want a skate with good ankle support and style, I'd recommend these. They don't have a lot of inside padding, but I don't feel like it's something that I need. These skates are absolutely beautiful and perfectly true to size I have a narrow foot and a pretty true size 9 and these were the first skates that actually fit perfect. I would suggest to have the tools to loosen or adjust the wheels as they were a little tight I had to loosen them so that they were what I felt was comfortable as ice skated. Happy with my skates! Comfortable. True to adult size 9 and fit. Not tight in the toe box for me, no looseness in heel area that would normally require 2 pair of socks for a better fit. Will have to be broken in due to stiffness in upper part.
