I purchased this for my 8 month old cat, and 5 week old kitten. It has been a little under a week and both are still really skeptical of it. the older cat enjoys it more. Sturdy, and fits nicely in a corner and is not "too much" for a room. Took FOREVER to put together. The "screw driver" that is provided is not the easiest to use and definitely hurts your hands when trying to tighten the screws. I’m rating this 4 stars because of value and cost, but I can see future issues once our kitten grows and weighs more. We have 2 other cats that are 6 and 10 pounds and it doesn’t really seem stable or strong enough for them to play. The top of it kinda tilts and sways when the 10 pound cat tries to watch bugs from the window. So for now… it’s kitten approved until he realizes that he’s too big. ... show more

We have had ours for several weeks now with absolutely zero issues. It was easy to assemble (did use 2 people). The fabric is softer than expected but it did shed initially. Used a light vacuum on it to remove small bits right after building it and haven't needed to do it again. The small tunnel piece is smaller than expected but my cat still uses it to climb up to the highest point, so I'm fine with it. My kitten loves her tower, we definitely needed it since she was climbing all over absolutely everything in our house. I do recommend this tree. ... show more

I knew the price most likely indicated quality, but I decided to take the risk anyway. It's not a bad cat tree. It's just not that great either. It is about 25-30% too small for most adult cats to properly use. Each component is a little to small - to upper shelf is too small to really use and my cat can't figure out how to get onto it (I put him up there sometimes). The tunnel/tube is sized for a kitten and doesn't really give the cat a way to get into or out of it. But he loves the hidy and uses the scratching posts. We've had it about a week - so his use of it may change over time. The other issue is there is no padding on any of the surfaces. Just wood with fabric over it. ... show more
