I purchased this platform bed based off of the pictures and the price(I'm not gonna lie), but it doesn't look like the pics. Well it does but it's on a much smaller scale. I liked the fact that the headboard was large or appeared to be in the photos, while in reality you can only see a few inches of it. This bed was easy to build. It took me exactly 30 minutes start to finish. My almost 5 year old daughter loves it. She is able to get in and out with ease and loves that it is pink. It is true to Twin XL. There was a little room left at the foot of the bed that we used to place my daughter’s larger stuffed animals.
