Consider buying a size lower if you are a medium. It fits nicely with extra room. Otherwise it is too big. I plan to wear this more so around the Christmas holidays given the plaid red design. I think this vest is very different and perfectly festive. I also like the style. It works well with pants or jeans and even a long or short skirt. The fabric is very soft and will keep you warm.

Blanket vest met my expectations

I purchased this vest for an Alaskan themed fundraiser where jeans/flannel casual was the dress code. This was perfect paired with jeans boots and black shirt. This inside of fabric is not soft & cozy like the outside so is best paired over something that covers the back of your neck. I was aware of this from other reviews so I’ll rate this purchase 4.5 stars.

Great AZ topper

Very cute topper for this Arizona dweller. We rarely need coats or jackets because winter to us is, BRRR, is anything below 70 degrees which doesn't often happen. Looks great with jeans and leggings and tall boots, booties and even flats. OK...the pockets aren't sewn down. Solve the problem with fusable iron on sewing tape like Stitch Fix. Apply in proper position on back of pockets, steam iron, and in 5 minutes both pockets will lie flat on the inside of the garment and are still usable. Garment had a weird odor when removed from packaging so machine washed it (75%cotton 25%poly) on cool and dried it on low. Touched it up with a steam iron. Goodbye stinky and creases! Ordered a Medium for my 5foot 7 1/2 inch 136 lb. body.
