I have gotten professional laser done at different places with great results. I like having this device at home for those spots that the technician misses. I also love the convenience of zapping certain areas that are less than comfortable to ask the technician to do. Of course this does not hurt as much as the salon lasers do, but that's also because it is not as powerful as the salon lasers. This could be do to regulation of these kinds of devices and what strength is allowed for consumer use at home, for safety reasons. I have been using the older model for a little over a year and have been very pleased with the results! I decided to try this updated version and have a few comments: (1) I was uncertain how I would feel since it does not have the built-in cooling feature, but I just used it for first time today and used level 5 and had no issue with pain from too much heat. And I use it on my face (2) It is easy to hold and quieter than first model which I like. (3) The manual mode is quicker, which is nice, than original model Overall, I’ve had great results with these products. I am biracial (half black and half white) and have medium skin tone (in winter) with very dark hair and it works great. Have noticed that it does not work as well during summer months because I ran quite dark, but I’m still pleased with my results. Much much less hair growth! ... show more

I was looking for one not too expensive and came across this product. Decided to give it a shot. I have been using it for about 8 weeks and I am nicely surprised! It does work! I have not been using it as recommended, sometimes I get too busy with life… But for most part I did 3x a week. I am first trying facial hair and armpits. First 3 or 4 weeks on level 4 and then 5. I use the glasses included and have no issue with my eyes, I do have dry skin tho…. And have to use more moisturizer on my face. But I have struggled with peach fuzz (and much more) since I was a teenager and was bullied for that as well so FINALY seeing less and less in my late 40s is a really good feeling! I am planning to try my legs in the future. I am a cheapie and really glad I got this inexpensive product! It is worth it!!!! ... show more

I had used the previous model for my facial hair do to PCOS. Trying this one was more for my legs to gets ready for Summer 🏝️. It was comfortable to use. I like that it came with the googles. It made me feel better about protecting my eyes from the light. I did the second setting the only thing I really noticed is that after using it multiple times in a row you could feel a little heat but just barely. Afterwards there was a slight tingle that went away once I applied lotion. I will post another update after a couple of weeks. If it is anything like the previous model, I know I will be satisfied. I have now been using this for approximately 3 weeks. I can say that I am seeing it work so far, even with my less than consistent use. I am a pretty hairy guy, and I shave my legs for cycling (also inconsistently). I've been trying this to keep the frequency of shaving down, and I can definitely tell that the areas where I have used it most regularly are indeed seeing quite a bit less hair growth. It is super easy to use, and I only feel any real pain at the most intense setting. I would recommend starting with 1 for a bit, and then 3 and maybe go up from there. Certain parts of my legs are more tolerant than others as well. Would definitely recommend, especially for the price! A great deal! ... show more

This is my second laser tool from this company. I was so satisfied with the older model that I’ve owned for a while, I decided to get this product because it was on sale. So far, it’s working just as well as the older version, but it is easier to hold. I used to pay thousands of dollars on laser hair removal at med spas. Since I have discovered this product, I haven’t had to go. I used this product at home more frequently than I would go to my med spa but it is working just as well, saving me tons of $.
