    • It lasted almost 4 months
For the price, the quality of coffee was fairly good. The problem with this unit is there the dial. The off is in the middle of the dial and there is no clear spot.. as in there is no click into place. The dial is also located on the side of the machine so not really visible to tell if you have it in the exact spot to have it actually off. I tried to be very careful and make sure but there were a few times it was left on all day as there is no auto off after it being left on unintentionally.. which caused it to seize up and the dial now no longer turns at all. I had left it on without realizing it a handful of times. After it cooled off I could use it again but this last time the knob seized up completely and now it won't turn at all. I understand it was my fault that I didn't get it in the correct position to turn off, but wanted other to be aware of this issue as it is really easy to have this happen. I would not recommend purchasing this unless they either fix the knob to click into each position or they make it power off after being left on for an extended period of time. ... show more

    • Makes great espresso, steam wand is insanely uneven
This is my second Yabano espresso machine. I bought it to replace my first one that went up after three years. I loved it so much i thought i could replace it easily. The new model is obviously made from slightly cheaper material and is lighter. The steam wand is nowhere near as good as the old model. It steams very unevenly and will boil / burn milk while leaving a cold foamy top…..ugh. The old model’s steam wand was amazing. That was the only huge disappointment to this machine. You get what you pay for!! It does still make great espresso. My one big tip if you’re going to get this machine (other than trying to fiddle with the steam wand) is this: after using it in either mode, turn it off, UNPLUG IT and then let it cool a bit and SLOWLY release pressure from the top valve. Clean the machine and then after all of the pressure is released and it is cool you can use the machine again. It does take a while but at this price point there is no cheaper way to make a latte. Just wish they had put more craftsmanship and thought into the steam wand. I want the old steam wand!!! ... show more

I bought this as a birthday gift for my mom and it worked way better than her old Coffee machine, you can warm up your milk here and it doesn’t take long to make the actual coffee

    • Decent machine
The machine is small and offers a steaming nozzle and brews an individual cup of coffee. I don't think this is true to espresso standards, meaning there needs to be more water pressure pushing through the grounds to make it qualify as espresso. My critques are the coffee doesn't brew as hot as I'd like and the steaming nozzle takes awhile to heat up. Though, this is as expected for a $40 machine, it's not commerical or top of the line for home machines. It's small, cute, does what it says it does. If you're an occassional latte drinker, like myself, and want the ability to make one at home, this will do just fine. ... show more

loved the machine except it's hard to line up and turn the filter handle to the proper position to lock in. I have to fool around with it to mesh where it should be. Almost sent it back. Hopefully it will lock in easier with use.
