Now it's only been a short time, that I have used this product. But it's working well. Now the money that I have already saved, from using solar has paid for this product. In about 6 more months it will have paid for the solar panels too. So I can tell you for sure, that solar has been worth it. Saving me money after the first year. Of course I installed myself and that's why I have saved money at all. Having a company install solar you won't save a dime for years. You end up paying all the money that you that you woukd be paying the power company to the installer up front. At least for the first few years. Now solar should last up to 20 years but after 5 years the out put starts to drop. If this product last 1 year I will be happy. Because Replacement parts in solar are a must. The panels will need replacement after 5 to 7 years. So I will get about $900 a year after the first year. That's money saved. But the cost of power will continue to go up. Like everything but the wages we make. Of course if I need to replace this every year that savings will drop a little. But still worth it. Now I will tell you about installing this product. It pretty easy as long as you have a open electric outlet open. You can't have something plugged into that outlet other then this product. So I have 2 already installed and each have a 20 amp breaker and a 20 amp outlet. So I have this in my basement next to the breaker box to keep the cost of installing low. So you should know that the cost will cost you more then this product and the panels. It will cost you copper wire and a outlet plus the breaker. And if you can install them yourself that's a lot saved. Now I would show pictures but every time I try it kicks me out of Amazon and I lose everything I just wrote. So I might try to edit this and add pictures soon.

Junk. Purchased three of these over the past couple years and all three of them have failed. I’m only running 400 watts. I would like to have a free one or two for my inconvenience.

I'm only running two 100watt panels in a test but this little unit works great for a full year. The fan that kicks on a peak solar hours is a little noisy nexts to my work desk but no problems at all. Simple to use and it just works!

Lower voltage gives lower output, doesnt adjust output for voltage change. Syncs with grid well. Need to run on the high range of its rated input.

first of all im editing my review. its Efficiency is barely 30% with me feeding 28v , 60 amps into it . it did a little less then 160w got hot . Now i see people saying the fans go out Mine did not go out , Instead the 50 volt , 2800 UF capacitors inside exploaded , And a on board mosfet caught fire and shit itsself on the mosefts that were heatsinked Causing those to catch fire aswell. you do get what you pay for And it did indeed pay itsself off our electric bill was 340'ish $ ...... now its 420$...... i used it for maybe 7 months so it definitely lowered the electric bill that whole time i Wouldnt' recommend it to anyone

My watt meter showed 1.4kw, 20 hours run time when Red light came on, solar panel (100w 20.5 vmp and 25 voc) voltmeter showed 22 volts going into inverter, unit dead no output, was only hooked up four 4 days did not last long
