I had a similar belt back in the 60's and have always wanted to get one again to show my rock and roll side once again. Being 50 years older and 50 pounds heavier than I was back then, I'll leave the "modeling to those who ate younger and cuter, but leave you with some useful information... The belt fits the loops in any jeans and many other pants. I dont know what other reviewers were talking about with the odor problem, smells like a new leather belt to me. I'm hoping the belt will last longer since the grommets should reinforce the holes. I have a big belly, so its a little difficult to navigate both of the cleats into the holes quickly without looking in the mirror, and still a little tricky, so I probably will not be wearing this as an "every day" belt because that could get tiresome. Quality? Well, it's not 3 mil thick leather straight off of a steer, it is clearly several ply of who knows what, but there's some leather in there. You'll need to spend at least 4 times the price of this one to get something in pure cowhide. I'm very pleased. ... show more

I wanted to get something that is alternative and different than the rest of my belts. The multiple eyelits make it easy and comfortable holding a pair of jeans on my waist. The color looks great and the size of the belt is long enough for my needs. There's little stretchiness but I can say the belt is durable. I can tell the belt will last a while. The grommets are single sided, so there's no practical way they're going to stay in. As soon as the belt starts bending, physics will start pushing the grommets out. It's a major design flaw with such a simple fix, and I can't recommend it based on that. The first grommets for the size I wore fell out almost immediately. I've been working off my COVID dad bod and am now three sizes down. The second size down, one grommet fell out. The third size down, both grommets fell out. And now on the fourth, after only wearing it three times, one grommet fell out. I'm not doing any heavy activity while wearing it, it's just keeping my pants up while I sit at the computer all day. Really disappointing. But it does look great at the beginning, so it could be for a costume or something you won't wear many times. ... show more
