These are great, heavy, strong, sturdy and exactly what I need for my garden. These are exactly as described and very sturdy. The only negative is some of the paint chipped off the top even though I put a block of wood on top before a hammered. I touched them up with rustoleum paint. It also would be nice if they had a point on the bottom so they could be pounded in easier.

I bought these to use on a ever changing chicken yard (chickens kill grass, so I move the pen to another area). So when I read they were 'heavy duty' I thought , perfect! Well, they are not 'heavy duty' by any real life definition. Very thin metal and time will tell how long they will last with repeated removal and pounding (most likely only 2 or 3 times). I do like the design of the little hooks, half point up and half point down, perfect for the plastic fencing I am using. A note of caution though, the hooks are easy to shear off while using the pole pounder if you are not paying attention to their orientation on the pole. I did not notice till I went to hang the fence and there was nothing to hang it on... Bottom line, even though these do the job, I will not buy these again. I will look to spending a bit more on the new ones when it comes time to replace these.

I used these to help strengthen my bird feeder pole that the wind blew over. Stuck a stake on each side of the pole and hammered them into the ground...then I put black zip ties through the holes every six inches or so all the way up and zipped them down. The pole is now super sturdy and I was even able to add another hook and hang a nice plant on it. Wonderful!

While these might not be great as a very supportive fence they work really well for my garden stakes to keep animals out. The fence posts are solid but with a little tension they will bend so I probably wouldn't be using these with anytime that needs a lot of support. I am using with plastic snow fencing so there isn't a lot of pressure in them and they work really great. When pounding into the ground, wet the soil first to make it a little easier. With that to you won't have as much trouble
