We got this XXLarge (10’x4.8’) Popup Portable Dog House for our cats. We have several indoor cats, and it was our hope that they would appreciate hanging out in this Popup tent, while being outside and getting some fresh air in the backyard. Also, it is big enough that we could hang out inside with them. Well, some of our cats liked it, some of them could take it or leave it. But that doesn’t take away from how nicely constructed this Popup Portable Tent is and how easy it is to put up, and take down. When folded up and put away, it takes up very little room, and is easy to transport. I also like that there is a full roof and the 6 sides are all mesh, as better insurance that any pets in this enclosure are getting good protection from the sun, and lots of ventilation, to help prevent overheating.

This is a beautiful and very large tent that assembles remarkably easy. The tent is pretty sturdy and easy to wipe clean. We’ve yet to put the cat in it but my 45lb dog loves it. The bottom sides may come up a bit high for the cat to see out. My other concern with using this tent to give the cat outside time is the large door opening, I have some concerns about opening this wide flap door to enter the tent or take the cat out. We will use this tent as a screened porch for the dog when camping. This tent can also be used for children to play in and adults if seated.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I chose this Dog tent because it had good reviews Putting it up was not a problem. But putting it back together is impossible! We have not been able to put it back in its original size. We are going to be returning it because it’s too big ,but I would never have kept it even if it was the right size because it does not fold up and its original size. The directions are terrible and unclear. The YouTube video shows completely different directions and did not work either. Did anybody else have trouble with this?

While shopping for some of the summer inflatables and tents, one item that has been needed for a couple years now at our family reunions are portable pop-up tents for the family dogs to enjoy and catch some shade on those overly hot days. After finding a few choices, the one that impressed me the most is made by this company - EIGHTEENTEK store. Based on the visual presentation and product specs, this appeared the best choice. I ordered this and now that I have this home and have inspected - set up for use, I can attest that the design is highly functional and works as the maker intended. *Special features to consider: -XXL Pop-up Portable Doghouse -Gazebo style design -Kennel and Playpen -Materials: Mesh, Fiberglass Pole, Anti-tear Oxford cloth -multiple pets can use this simultaneously All in all, I do find that the designer of this portable popup tent for dogs has done a great job. This is a super nice large dog pop up play tent! I have been looking for something like this for quite a while because you always see them in smaller sizes but you never see anything very often for a bigger dog. This came very well packed and secured with no damage to it from delivery whatsoever. Everything was perfectly as described in the ad even down to the measurements so it's the nice big size that it is supposed to be. Very easy to clean super high quality very heavy duty and well made. The zipper works great and never gets caught and this tent is super nice and folds up perfectly as it should. Very user friendly super easy to get up and put back down again. You can easily anchor this down as well so it won't blow away and they can't just take off in it. So far I think it's very well ventilated and gives your furry friend a chance to run around and play around outside but in a safe contained way. Definitely a solid 10 out of 10 and worth every penny in my opinion. Works great and it's super user friendly.

This was perfect for keeping my cats locked up while I had some furniture moved into my house, easily allowing the door to be left open without fear of an escape. The coral pops up and assembles very easily creating a nice little space to keep my cats in for a moment or two. This also has plenty of space to also hold their litter box which is great for when I travel for business with them and have to leave them in the hotel room, it's very roomy and comfortable for them to hang out in. Functionally this is a great little pop up coral that keeps my cats safe and out of the way when I need them to be. Highly recommended and good value.

My main concern with something like this, is will it get too hot inside if it's in the sun? With all 6 sides of this being over half mesh fabric, this is VERY airy and doesn't trap hot air at all. So, I feel safe using this even on hot, sunny days. Setup and takedown is a breeze (if I may pun just a bit), and honestly their video does a pretty good job of explaining the process better than I could do typing it out. The quality is pretty much on part with most tents, but seeing as it's mostly mesh, you shouldn't have any expectations of it being water resistant in any way. It's useful in a number of situations, such as when camping, or if you're having a get together and want the pets to be safe and secure and not running amok. In all, I think it's very nice and very generous in size and I highly recommend it for your furry friends on their next outing.
