The fabric is more like a microfiber, but that pile is a little higher in the pile does have a grain direction so it does show fingerprints like a velvet. It does have a little bit of a sheen, but not a tacky one. It is not lined and there is A pretty tall him at the top but because it's the slide on pole type, it's not very high in that part. It's very slinky fabric, not very much stiffness to it. The fabric is probably one of the prettier ones that I've seen from Amazon because of the slight sheen, but the color wasn't right for me. It's a dark green, but it's not that dark. It's a straight forward, hunter, green, more on the warmer side not too cold. I also prefer it to be lined and have tabs in the back, but it's lacking that, and no buckram either. ... show more

I wanted the perfect shade of olive green for my sons nursery and this shade matched the images very closely! I was so pleased! From the moment I pulled out the curtains I was pleasantly surprised by the luxe texture! It was perfect! I almost bought the shorter curtains by accident so definitely make sure you measure and know what length you need. They were slightly wrinkled from being packaged and I briefly attempted to steam them but it hasn’t worked out the best. I am going to try again later on. For now I am very happy with the results!
