  • Solid two burner stove for $80
Nice 2 burner propane stove. I am completely satisfied with it and it’s much nicer than anything else that’s under or around the $100 mark. (It was like $80 shipped + taxes) Build quality: top is made of some sort of glass like material. It makes it easy to clean. The rest of the construction is made of stainless while the burner material looks like it’s made of cast iron of some sort. Overall the build quality is above my expectations. Burner: burner has an inner ring and putter ring. The control of it is simple. On “low” heat, only the inner burner is on. I can’t seem to control the inner heat with much finesse but it’s heat output is pretty much minimal. On low-medium heat, the outer rings will turn on. You can control the outer ring’s output from low-medium to nuclear. I’m ok with this. Most my cooking will be on low-medium anyways. I’d say the overall control of flame/heat is average. But considering this stove is $80, I don’t expect it to have the flame control Level/finesse of a $2000 top tier stove. So for $80, I am extremely satisfied with this stove ability to control flame. Cons: it has a built in self igniter. It sucks. I have better luck on tinder than I do with this igniter. It’ll [MAYBE] self ignite the flame 1/10 times, even when I let the gas bleed Out a little before I ignite it. No big deal. I can just use a lighter. Maybe it’ll need a break-in before it’ll work properly? I’ll update if this improves. Other thoughts: I bought this stove because my current stove is an induction stove. And anyone who cooks will know induction sucks. Although it says “outdoor use only,” I will still be using it indoors (it’s ok as long as you have plenty of ventilation). Besides, I’ll prob die from this whole end-of-the-world-coronavirus before I die from breathing in the burnt up propane exhaust. YOLO. ... show more

  • Best thing ive seen on Amazon to use in the house
this thing is nice just make sure to get the clamp on the hose is tight so it does not leak after tightening you should not be able to move the hose. This part of it is an engineering flaw it should be flared with a flared nut on the end of it to connect to a REAL propane hose if i have trouble with it leaking ill be doing this myself with the flare tool i have. Its 2 burners for one a small center burner and a large one around that. Boil water no problem couple of minutes on high unless your trying to several gallons at one time but for soup and coffee yep fast heat up. Other thoughts this thing is on plastic feet you may want to get some type of rubber stick on bumpers so it dont slide around. Im actually using this in the house so im going to set up somthing more permanent and cut a slot in the countertop for it to drop in. Size is no slacker its the same width as a full range stove half of the depth and the glass is thick which is what is going to be holding the weight. If your going to do somthing really heavy talk to the seller and see what they think they will reply but only on a weekday. The first one i got was damaged i took pictures of the damage sent them a message with the pics attatched and they sent me a replacement rite away and claimed the insurance from UPS ... show more

  • glass shattered completely after boiling a pot of water!
this is really a 3.5 but does not deserve a 3 hence the 4 stars. The range is very nice, but upon arrival the left burner would not light with the piezo spark so I have to keep a barbeque type lighter next to the range when I use both burners. I also wish that it would produce a little more flame. the ring that separates the flame from the bottom of the pan is a little high in my opinion. Does it work? absolutely. Takes longer to boil a pot of water in the current config but I may try to find other rings that will lower it a bit. Update!!! Had been reasonably happy as you can see from the above review. However, I boiled some water this morning and turned everything off including the gas source as I always do. Approximately 5 minutes later I heard a crash and rushed to the kitchen to find that the glass top of the unit had completely shattered with some very sharp pieces on the floor. The glass is mostly intact however it is completely shattered similar to what a car windshield might do but without the little square safety features. These are jagged pieces! I tried to contact the manufacturer but no answer on their 909 area code phone ... show more

  • Broken item but seller honored and refunded
Item came broken, little miscommunication at first but seller made good and issued refund. Overall quality is nice but packaging should be better so that it does not break in transit. If not broken the first time I would def recommend as quality is not bad.

  • Flame control is lacking, unit is bigger than it looks.
Overall, this unit does the job of cooking food, but it has some issues. First, the starter only works about 1/2 the time. Not a big deal, since I keep an extention lighter near by. My unit came with the cast iron burner elements covered in gold spraypaint for some reason. They smoked and stank the first few times I tried to cook with the unit. I'm guessing the fumes are not at all good for you and probably not something you want billowing up around your food. The four spoke pan supports don't offer a lot of stability to your pots and pans, especially smaller ones, 8" or less. They tend to slip off because the spokes don't extend far enough toward the center. Five or six spokes, each an inch longer, would be a significant improvement. The inner and outer ring of each element has an airflow adjuster under the glass surface. In my experience, the knobs and air adjustments don't give enough control. Even on the lowest setting, the center element has a high flame that will burn the food in the center of the pot or pan unless I turn the pressure way down at the tank regulator. Forget about a low simmer unless you are willing to monkey with the primary regulator. This unit is also bigger than it looks in the photos. The given dimensions are accurate, though, so lay out a piece of cardboard or the equivalent to get a sense of the actual scale before you order it. In retrospect, I probably could have chosen a smaller/cheaper unit and been just as satisfied. ... show more
