Update 12/16/18- used the heater for first time on Thanksgiving Day. Was set to 68 for about 3 hours. The heater fuse burned out and melted the electrical panel inside the unit. The entire unit has no power. Contacted the seller and they offered a refund but because I was outside of the warranty, I would need to pay to ship the unit back. It is still sitting on my living floor, as I don’t see how shipping this large, metal and glass unit back will outweigh the cost of the refund and my wasted time. Very disappointed. Love it so far. The instructions were a little hard to read but I figured it out and mounted myself. Once the glass front is off it is a lot lighter and easy for one person to install. I originally had it at the optimal viewing height as per the instructions but ended up lowering it about 8 inches. Looks so much better. ... show more

We researched and look up these fireplaces for awhile. We were reluctant at first because we learned that this fireplace was not meant to be recessed. We couldn’t resist the price, so we DIY’d and recessed fireplace using this exact one. It came out beautifully!!! We aren’t able to use the heat because it is behind the wall, but we weren’t really going to use it anyways, because who needs heat in Florida? 😁 We wanted to add ambience to our living room and it most certainly did. The flames are so realistic and I love that you can change the colors and dim them down. ... show more

Love this fireplace, it does everything that I wanted it to and more. It is very pretty and love the crystals and ability to change colors. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the flames did not flicker at first...very disappointing. We removed the back and the part that creates the flicker effect was loose and not turning. We were able to tighten it and it is now working. An easy fix in case this happens to anyone else...be sure to check the fireplace and make sure it is working as it should before you hang it. ... show more

I searched and searched on what would be the best wall mounted fire place.. I found this was the best bang for my buck.... when we hot it it worked great...after about a month it started making a horrable screaching sound .we can't use it at all cuz it makes such an awful high pitched sound..super bummed .....for looks it's nice... that's why I gave it 2 stars.. I personally wouldn't purchase unless you want yo deal with a high pitched noise...i tried complaining to the company with no response... ... show more

Pros: This is a great product, the flames from a distance look realistic. Very easy to use with the remote control which is a great feature. The fireplace was fairly easy to install with the added bracket, the fact that it doesn’t need to be mounted on the studs was a plus. Installation was fairly easy between me and my wife, you will need help. All in all this is a great centerpiece to any room and a great conversation piece. Cons: The installation directions were not the best. Me and my wife could have used more detailed information. The drawings in the installation manual were not the best either. ... show more

This is the best purchase I’ve made yet for my home remodel. I was going for a clean contemporary look throughout the project. This fireplace was the perfect item that brought it all together. Arrived in 2 days, perfect condition! Installed in about an hour. The heater and blower are on the top and back of the unit, blowing hot air upward. Works great and virtually silent on the blower. The flame display looks great on all 3 colors and is really a beautiful mood setter for the room. When the unit arrives, it has a removable glass front, very easy to remove and clean. It is supplied with a bag of crystals to put in the light tray, and are very easy to put in when the glass is removed. ( I think it ships without crystals installed to prevent the display from being scratched) this is a great fireplace at a fantastic price, I highly recommend it !! ... show more

Looks beautiful, easy to install. This has a high and low setting 1500w/ 750w respectively. Says in instructions 2 people to install, which is prudent but I did it myself it is fairly easy. I felt no need to install the bottom bracket. The main support has 8 screws which is plenty, I used 6 of them, even more secure if you can hit a stud in the wall. You will want to remove the glass panel first, install bracket and mount fireplace. Then to load the glass crystals at the bottom use a strip of cardboard to hold against the front so the crystals will get situated, then gently slide the glass panel back into the side latches then you can screw in from the side, otherwise the glass marbles will slide out and it will be a pain. Also I included top of the unit pics, by my estimation if you want this partially recessed into the wall, I would not go more than 1 3/4 inches otherwise you will obstruct the heat vent and the manual controls, this unit Cannot be fully recessed. It is low profile and beautiful, mine completely lays against outside of wall, not recessed at all. I put it right over an outlet and you cannot see the plug. Instructions say 1000mm or approximately 39” clearance from the top of the heat vent, mine is 29” from my sloping attic ceiling and does fine, in my unprofessional opinion I wouldn’t have anything closer than 24” but instructions state 39”. I love that all features can be controlled via remote, it has thermostat settings from around 62-80 degrees, heater only w no lights or lights only with no heat. ... show more
