The S1 laser engraver laser module has a spot size of only 0.06*0.04mm and a movement accuracy of 0.01mm. It is an excellent choice for fine carving, while also possessing basic cutting capabilities. If you want to engrave jewelry, you can purchase the 1064nm infrared laser module separately, easily transforming the laser cutter machine into a jewelry engraver.
  • Break the Limitations of Format & HeightThe S1 wood engraving machine boasts a bed size measuring 23.93"15.16" (608*385mm) and a working area of 19.6''13'' (498x330mm) that surpasses A3 paper. With the addition of the AutoPassthrough attachment, you can achieve automatic feeding processing with a maximum processing width of 118''18.5'', empowering you to create larger projects like signs and cutting boards. In addition, by using the xTool S1 riser base and RA2 Pro rotary attachment, you can process objects up to 125mm thick, meeting the engraving and cutting needs of 90% of cylindrical objects. • Intelligent Auto-Focus SystemWith the xTool S1 engraver machine, you can achieve one-click automatic focusing by using the XCS software. Even for thicker material cutting requirements, the xTool S1 supports defocus detection, which further releases the cutting capability by controlling the light spot to sink below the cutting surface through the focusing system. In addition, the xTool 3D Curve engraving system can automatically build a 3D model of the object, thereby adapting to different plane carving and achieving high-precision processing.

  • Great upgrade to the early diodes on the market
Color: White Size: 10W Basic Kit
The media could not be loaded. I was looking to upgrade my original D1 to an enclosed diode. First off, I know it sounds petty, but I love that it comes in white to match the white furniture in my craft room (ignore the mess, I'm still rearranging). Unlike the earlier diodes, this machine comes practically all assembled. This was a big plus for this not so tech person. Speaking of tech, the auto air assist and auto focus are a game changer. No more remembering to turn on the air assist between engraving and cutting. And a simple button on XCS allows you to set the height of the material. Since I also have the P2, I really got this machine for its engraving ability and that did not disappoint. What I was surprised about was the power and speed this 10w had when cutting. The bunny I cut in no time and the large flowers in a jar were engraved and cut in just under 20 minutes. I have the machine right next to the window and was pleasantly surprised at how well the machine vented out the window. You can see in the video how the smoke was pulling to the back of the machine. I like how visible the cover is and I can comfortably sit in my chair and watch the machine. The viewing window is large. I made the bunny to add to a tiered tray beaded garland. After cutting it out I realized I had forgot to put a hole in the ears to string the jute through. I remedied that by using the pin point marking system to mark out a pentagon inside the bunny ear and placed the hole inside that. As you can see from the picture, the machine had no problem cutting the hole where I needed it. ... show more

  • Love it

Works great

  • Great Quality and my 1st Laser
Color: Black Size: 10W Basic Kit
I was so excited to get this xTool S1 laser to review. This is my first laser so I started at ground zero. I attached some of the unpacking pictures and the first two items I made. I have never seen a piece of equipment that was packaged so well. The instructions on installation were also great. I am an engineer and tech writer so sometimes critical on packaging and directions but they did a great job. Then the problems started, not with this laser but on my end with a bunch of computer problems. I finally after some weeks got the problems on my end fixed. Downloading the laser software was easy. Downloading an upgrade was a little more difficult to get working but they have good instructions and finally, turning the laser off and back on fixed it. My first project was the star and second was the phone stand. They have a sample file of the phone stand since to begin with if you have never used a laser, I am not sure you would quite understand how to do it with the engrave lines and cut lines. The blue tape is just over a name I did not want to show. The last photo shows the plywood I used for my first projects after being cut out. I used a piece I already had but in with the kit is a nice selection of things to engrave on to start learning. My opinion is this is a well built stellar machine. I will be getting a lot of use out of this in my leather shop. I would like to try the fume extractor but to begin I cut a hole in a board and put that in a nearby window to run the hose through for venting. I plan on using this on a number of items in my shop and if I think there is more that should be added to this review, I will add information. The only thing I would like to see added is a comprehensive video or article with instructions and pictures on how to start the setup with each step needed and why. I may be unusual but I also like to see the "why" of each step also. Their videos and instructions are very good but missing steps on some projects I think you were already supposed to know. Since this is a new product, they may be planning on writing a guide just like that and my comment may not apply later. I have to say so far this laser is worthy of 5 stars and I recommend it. ... show more

  • WHERE IS THE SUPPORT?
Color: Black Size: 10W Basic Kit
The xTool S1 10w is actually a decent little laser, and it would score better, but the support for this machine is abysmal. Terrible, awful, just plain garbage. Let me back up a little. Unboxing was a breeze. They added in some nice straps to help lift it out of the box which was appreciated. The unit is a little large for my space in my studio/bedroom, but because it has to vent and I live in a windowless cave (2 windows and 2 sliding glass doors in my home, that's it) it is what it is. I have since created a permanent panel so I can vent, keep the elements out, and hold my cold air in (and still access my patio lol) Setup was also quite easy. I was a little nervous at first installing the diode - I don't know how delicate these things are... but you get used to it since you have to pull it off quite frequently for maintenance. The software had no problem finding and connecting and setting up wi-fi was easy (which is good since I used a laptop for setup instead of my main PC) My firmware updates were quick and issue-free as well. The laser unit is nicely constructed and is easy to depth-find and mark positions. There is no camera to mark, you have to do it manually - but I don't mind doing that so I can be certain I am not hitting the clips (ok, yes, I am a bit of a control freak lol). This unit is only a 10-watt diode - so people gotta understand that this will not cut everything and anything - it is quite limited on what materials can be used. HOWEVER... finding out WHAT those materials actually ARE leads me to why this unit only gets an "okay" rating... The support. The support for this machine in particular is NON-EXISTENT. Trying to get answers to the most basic questions is an effort in futility. For example, they send you a sample "materials pack." Firstly, it includes clear acrylic pieces which, from everything I have read or seen, you cannot etch or cut with a 10 w blue diode laser. They also included a couple metal tags, a couple pieces of wood, a sheet of black acrylic, a piece of leather, and one more STILL UNIDENTIFIED piece of material I suspect (and kind of hope) is their screen-printing material. But who knows? No list in the box, in the instructions, or anywhere in the packaging. Scoured the website to no avail. Asked the bot - who like all AI bots that plague the internet today - was useless. Asked on the forum, and only got responses from other people who were looking for the same exact answers. It doesn't look like anyone who actually WORKS for xTool is there to answer questions. Lame. I have done everything except pick up the phone and call. If I am picking up the phone I am pissed - I hate talking on the phone, and for this I shouldn't have to! It makes me very afraid for when I DO encounter an actual problem. There is also a major issue with the software XCS. You cannot horizontally scroll in this program. What kind of image manipulation software of ANY kind doesn't have a horizontal scroll? It makes positioning a HUGE pain in the butt. You supposedly can use Lightburn (a paid, third-party program) but they don't tell you WHICH one you need, and they state all features (like depth-finding and marking) aren't supported. I mean... UGH! Put in that stupid scroll bar please!! They say this is easy to upgrade and swap out diodes. However, because of the lack of support in answering even the most basic of questions, when it is time to upgrade I will be looking at other options instead of moving forward with xTool products. ... show more
