Tire was completely flat and didn't take long to get up to what it needed. Travel kit has some nice extra tools. Only insight - cord could stand to be another 3 foot longer.

This review is for a portable air compressor car kit. I've had the same old car kit with air compressor and thought it was time to replace it. After receiving this kit, though, I'm not quite sure I want to chuck out the old one. Case: The case is a hard, thick plastic. It'll take a beating in the short run, but will become dry and brittle after being in the car in the long run. I had trouble getting everything back into it, in part because there is nothing holding the compressor, tubing, and battery cables in place. There is a gap in the case when it's closed, and the label was confusingly put on the bottom side. Compressor: The compressor is the star of the kit. The compressor itself is pretty heavy, much heavier than my old one. I like that it is easy to keep it flat on the ground and has a built in handle. I think they cylinder is metal. There are metal bars protecting the cylinder and for the handle. The sides and top are a hard plastic. It does seem to work as designed, but you'll have to trust the digital gauge or else verify it worked properly with a handheld one. Extension tubing: This is made of hard plastic instead of rubber. I don't expect that this will hold up well over time, especially if kept inside a hot car. It does not revert back to the original size and shape after use right away, I imagine with repeated use it won't hold it's shape too well at all. Gloves: the gloves have texture dots on the palm side and are best suited for medium hands. Battery cables: the rigging for battery power appear to work, but they're cheaply made and will break easily if not used and stored carefully. Pliars: the pliars seem ok, one of the better consturcted items in the case; however, the tip of it is too thick to be needlenose but thinner than normal ones. The handle is shorter than normal, could be awkard for big hands. Screwdrivers: the handles are hard plastic and not very wide. This is good fir tight spaces maybe if they don't slip out of your hand, but being so narrow will mean more hand fatigue. The edge on the phillips is a little wide. Cutter: the case is a flamsy plastic and I can't even say it's safe to use. The blade they included with it is pretty flimy as well, but can still cut you if that holder breaks. Robber solution: haven't tested it, but it doesn't fit properly in the case and got crammed in kind of funny. Insertion needle and rasp: handles are hard plastic, not unlike the kind that gets brittle over time. The grasp will be awkward for people with big hands. Adaptors: the two plastic adaptors are all plastic, there are no metal components like the ones in the product photos. Conclusion: Get this mainly for the air compressor. The case, tools, and accessories aren't built for large hands and they're not built to last.

I have used it only once. It worked ok. But it was only once. You should send us this evaluation 6 months after having received the compressor. On December 31 I got my first flat tire, The compressor worked but not properly. It inflated the tire to 32 PSI but the tire is supposed to get inflated to 52 PSI. It is a 205/55R/ 16. YOUR COMPRESSOR DIDN'T MAKE it to inflate the tire to that pressure. Your compressor is a complete failure.!!!
