I should have known from the condition of the product's box that it had been used and returned. I looked at some unboxing videos and pictures and mine was evidently missing a few things - the plastic bag, the manual, the thing holding the power/charging cord together (cord was just shoved into the little flat box and crumpled up the stickers pretty badly) - but thought I would give it a try anyway. After almost 3 hours, nothing. Bluetooth would not recognize the device at all. I tried several devices, all with the same result. I contacted XSonic who is evidently on "holiday" until Feb. 18th. I am convinced somebody returned this one and didn't indicate it was defective or God only knows what else might have happened. I have ordered a replacement so we'll see. Hoping to get a better result with the replacement one.

Excellent construction, really sturdy, a lot of setup options, you can to connect almost any bluetooth device, BUT... If you are not patient... you better not to get this device, you gonna get a gastric ulcer trying to update and pair this device, I am a advanced user, with experience, but this is really tricky. Frustrated I started a return after all night fighting against the fuc&%#$ apps, trying thousands of combinations, updating, installing and uninstalling apps and bluethooth settings. In the morning before package it for return, I tried again just for fun and "Voilá" like magic the app detected and paired the device!!! I'm sorry I cant to say how I did it, because I don't know hahaha, but now is working really nice. -------------------------------------------------------- Excelente construcción, muy resistente, muchas opciones de configuración, puedes conectar casi cualquier dispositivo bluetooth, PERO... Si no eres paciente, es mejor que no compres este dispositivo, vas a tener una úlcera gástrica tratando de actualizarlo y emparejarlo, soy un usuario avanzado, con experiencia pero esto es es muy complicado. Frustrado, inicie la devolución después de toda la noche peleando con las pu%@$ aplicaciones, probando miles de combinaciones, actualizando, instalando y desinstalando aplicaciones y configuraciones de bluethooth. Por la mañana, antes de empacarlo para devolverlo, lo intenté de nuevo solo por diversión y "Voilá" como magia, ¡la aplicación detectó y vinculó el dispositivo! Lo siento, no puedo decir cómo lo hice, porque no sé jajaja, pero ahora está funcionando muy bien.

Solid product, very convenient to have both Bluetooth and a long life battery, but definitely not the most cost efficient option. No LED display either.

This is the second Airstep I tried (first tried Spark and now Lite) and both have sucked and wasted hours of my time trying to get them to work with my guitar & computer / iPhone. They only work with very specific models of amp (Spark 40 not Mini!) and apple products (only the most recent). What’s more, though they advertise a ton of Bluetooth functionalities in the app, I couldn’t even get it work beyond a super clunky start/stop with the most basic YouTube videos on my phone, which isn’t worth $119. Better to wait until they improve this or get a better product that works more seamlessly with more products and with less frustrating setup.

The device will not connect as promised and support is utterly useless. Hoping I can resolve before return window expires. XSONIC is a terrible company if you need them for anything.
