Bring it back a quarter turn at a time.The pole appears to loosen from the ceiling as I am spinning on it!Make sure that your height adjuster is tightened down enough to the ceiling and the flange nut is locked down.There is a knocking sound when I spin on the pole.Your pole is not completely vertical. Loosen the height adjuster and recenter the item and re tighten to the ceiling.

I was so excited to finally get to order my first pole, then when I recieved mine, it was defective and I was very disappointed. I wasn't able to twist on one of my extensions all the way. I used the proper tools it came with, and it still would go on all the way. It was like to kept getting stuck in the middle. I was so upset I actually cried. So even when I put the pole up, completely vertical, it was so wobbly because of the fact that the bottom extension was not even. I put the pole up to test to see maybe it wouldn't be so bad, but it failed. I'm so mad. I looked inside my extensions and the pole had so much rust on the inside! Also, it did NOT COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS. I had to watch the little video on here a million times. He made it look easy. And I still couldn't twist on the extensions. ... show more

I can’t believe how affordable & how great the quality is of this pole! I love it. You don’t have to worry that it won’t stay in place bc it stays perfectly & I love that I can use the rotating pole or still pole. Great product!

    • The locking and unlocking part is faulty
I had to watch other pole videos to figure out how to pull a locks and unlocks then I finally got it to unlock and spin. When it was spinning, it would make a popping noise but I found out means it’s not completely vertically so I want to take it down and to take it down. You need to lock it for the life of me I could not lock the bottom base, so the pool would not spin when I try to unscrew the top part it finally came down because it wasn’t vertically. I was able to wiggle it and continue to wiggle it around the floor until it was at an awkward angle and able to come down. That is when I had to unscrew everything when I finally got down to the bottom base my tool was stuck to unlock and unlock the base. Somehow I was able to get the piece off and then I was able to unscrew the screw from locking part. I had to use pliers to unscrew the tool. If it wasn’t for the whole, locking and unlocking part, that would be a good pole. I am just not a fan of how your have to line everything up to get it to lock. ... show more

Works nicely...a little tricky to install ..watch other You Tube videos other than the one issued for more detailed views on installation, but once up ..its sturdy...im 200 lbs, no problem swinging...8ft ceiling on carpet. I love it, make sure it very straight and tightened to the ceiling. Very sturdy for the price. ... show more

Ok so it came with a dvd for instructions to put it up …. I don’t have a DVD player BUT if you go on YouTube there’s a video of how to set it up ! I have mine locked because I teach and while I like to do tricks on a spinning pole it’s just way too hard to teach that way. So I’ve never used that feature. I’d recommend it…. Its very stable and mounts without damaging your ceiling which was important to me bc I rent so I didn’t want to put up brackets. ... show more

Not sure why the negative reviews. I've owned an Xpole in the past, and this pole is VERY comparable for a lot less $$. It is super simple to set up (there is a DVD enclosed, otherwise you can look it up on Youtube.) I assembled it myself in less than 10 minutes. My 250 lb boyfriend took a couple swings around it and it never budged. I've been using it everyday and it still hasn't moved. I have it installed in an apartment on a carpeted floor as well. Spins just fine as well. I highly recommend purchasing this pole if you are looking for a 50mm!!! ... show more

The pole comes with dvd instructions no paper instructions, which is not very useful when you don’t have a DVD player! So, it was a crazy assembly Process we figured it out and got it up! Tried it for 2 days it was a very sturdy and great pole until I put it in spin mode. It started making a loud popping noise one every spin. Then I tried putting it back into static mode. It will not go back it still spins. NOW IT’S stuck in my room because the top screw will not go back up the main screw, so I can take the pole down to return it. I emailed the seller they just told me to unscrew the same screw I said wouldn’t budge. ... show more
