I used to have an X-Pole nearly 16 years ago (actually, had two of them). I wanted to get back into it (for fitness and fun) but didn't want to drop a few hundred dollars. I had concerns that this wouldn't work in my space, as I have carpet - but it DOES work and has held strong with no slipping. I am a bigger girl (size 14 and over 200lbs) and this holds. Now, I haven't done upside down moves yet, as I want to get a mat (since I broke my tailbone 15 years ago doing this and now at 40 I am afraid to break anything lol), but this pole is really sturdy if installed properly. I also have a child that likes to run and swing on it, and climb it, and it doesn't budge!! If you're looking for an affordable option to get into pole fitness, this is a great option! I just wish the bas was smaller (sometimes I stub my toe) but a mat around the base will eliminate that. Oh.. and if you are using on carpet, please invest in knee pads... carpet burns are NOT fun haha!

The pole spine despite what others say! It was easy to install. I do recommend getting a small hand leveler to make sure the pole is straight. You do have the ability to screw into the ceiling stud if wanted but not required. The instructions are easy to follow. Recommend using rubbing alcohol spray bottle with rag to wipe and clean the pole, Especially if it gets slippery. The gloves provide do not help at all.

Very sturdy, even on carpet. Used a studfinder. Easy to assemble, a bit difficult to level. The pieces did not stand up exactly vertically so I had to painstakingly nudge around the pole under mild tension with the ceiling to straighten before tightening. The spin is smooth and not loose. I dislike the design of the top cover since it is just cosmetic, but covers all the adjustment holes. I removed the cover so that I can retighten or loosen to move the pole if necessary. The chrome is good. The blue plastic wrap is annoyingly tightened to the bases and couldn't easily be removed. The base lettering is poor quality but I didn't expect much for the price. Overall good and functional.

this product is much better quality than i originally expected for how good the price is!! a little difficult to set up at first but once you figure it out it should be easy to take up and down! i needed two people to set it up. it’s really stable i don’t feel worried that it will fall down. we did have an issue with the washer at the top getting too tight, but after reading the troubleshooting section in the manual we were able to loosen it. there is also a helpful youtube video on how to set it up! I love it so far i would definitely recommend!

Easy installation and good quality but doesn’t reach 108” as the page suggests. From the bottom to top with everything attached it reaches 102” which doesn’t work with my set up.

I have updated from 1 to 3 starts as the mufacturing defect I spoke of was easy enough to fix on my own. Simply filed down the little extra globs of metal on the base and then the bottom piece slid over with ease, and after I fixed that the pole was easy to put up, very sturdy, and spins well. Has also been doing a good job staying put on my carpet. Overall I am happy for the price point. As many others have talked about, there is a manufacturing error in many of these that makes it so the first piece that should miunt on the base simply will not fit over. I saw the priduct had 4.5 star average still so I rolled the dice, but unfortunately I recieved one of the defective ones and this will be heading right back to Amazon. Honestly, I bought it through the Amazon Warehouse, expecting when they told me it was in very good used condition that it had been examined and would not be a faulty product but unfortunately this was not the case...

When I first opened the package. I thought the gloves were missing they hidden inside of one of the pole attachments. It's comes with what I assumed was a DVD or book unfortunately it is just directions to set up the pole and while that is very important it was still disappointing. I've had both spinning and static poles. This pole is noticeably slower to someone who's owned both, but that's not necessarily a bad thing at all because I had a lot of trouble learning on a spin pole the Momentum is very fast. It's sometimes difficult for a beginner to slow down without having to jump off of it. So the combo spin static is especially great for the beginner so it doesn't go too fast for you but it does its job and I'm overall pleased
