I bought the used one and was super worried about the condition it would come in. The box was really beat up and was on the verge of losing some of the smaller pieces, but everything looked great! The set up was super easy. You’ll need a stud finder so it doesn’t mess up your ceiling. And I used a level to make sure the pole was straight. My apartment has popcorn ceilings so I cut part of a yoga mat and placed it between the pole and ceiling so it wouldn’t fall (I totally fell before doing that lol). But it’s super stable now. I’m 175lbs and it hasn’t shifted at all. I’ve enjoyed using it a lot and plan on taking classes so I can come home and use my pole more often. It’s really great exercise. ... show more

    • Easy to put together
The pole was easy to put together. Make sure to measure your ceiling to floor so you can know if you need to use pole C, D, or D and C. I did not end up using the little circle piece at the top. I found that it got in the way when twisting the inner pole part. Once you put the pole up it is tight! You do have the option to make the pole static or spinning. When putting the pole together make sure it is straight!!! The whole time or you will have issues when in spinning mode. ... show more

Very sturdy, even on carpet. Used a studfinder. Easy to assemble, a bit difficult to level. The pieces did not stand up exactly vertically so I had to painstakingly nudge around the pole under mild tension with the ceiling to straighten before tightening. The spin is smooth and not loose. I dislike the design of the top cover since it is just cosmetic, but covers all the adjustment holes. I removed the cover so that I can retighten or loosen to move the pole if necessary. The chrome is good. The blue plastic wrap is annoyingly tightened to the bases and couldn't easily be removed. The base lettering is poor quality but I didn't expect much for the price.
