I just wish I would have discovered this years ago. I love my XPole--the stretch factor alone is priceless. My flexibility has so improved and it is fun! Do not get me wrong it is a sports pole for me I would never strive to be an experienced pole dancer but again the stretching and balance use is priceless for me. It was very easy to put together and placing very sturdy. I am 5'2' 110 lbs. I have taking it down (very easy) and there was no marking or any damage to my ceiling. Highly recommend this product if you need total body stretching, something to hold on to to maintain balance--its not just about dancing (but definitely can aid in your core workout!). ... show more

The most time-consuming part was carefully scanning my painted sheetrock ceiling with electronic and magnetic studfinders to find the second-floor joists for a secure installation. I marked the center of the joist with a push pin then installed the pole, plumbed it vertical with a safety pin on a thread and drew a pencil mark around the base on my hardwood floor. Then I put 4 pushpins in the ceiling at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock. Now I can remove and replace the pole when needed without rescanning the joists. The seller should qualify this for Amazon Prime it's first class and I would buy it again without hesitation. ... show more

    • Why did it come black?
I wanted the pink pole but once it was delivered i opened up the package and my pole is black. I thought i purchased a pink one. Still a good pole just wasnt what i was expecting.

This is the real deal X-Pole! I received this pole and set it up all by myself in about 20 minutes. It comes with step by step instructions but I just used a YouTube video for installation. Followed right along with the video and had the pole set up in no time at all. I highly recommend this pole. You absolutely get what you pay for! It's beautiful, bright pink. Super easy to grip.
