All I need is “off and on” switch, nothing fancier. And it is a good thing because that is what I seem to get with these lights in spite of the multiple levels of brightness and different color options of “white” available. I can’t seem to get them to do much else but go on and off—and, again, that is okay by me. I have not put in any time to troubleshoot the issue as I don’t see it as a problem. One piece of advice…if you do purchase these and they don’t come on after exposing them to a day of sunlight, press the switch. The light is likely in a default “off” mode but will come on immediately if you switch “up.” We have solar lighting throughout our yard. These lights are sturdier than most of the rest of them and give off more light in spite of being smaller than many. I have one of these two lights aimed at a section of shrubs in my garden that I have discovered looks a lot better under its solar light than in direct sunlight. The beam of solar light extends for about 12 ft of intense illumination. The other one up-lights a section of Japanese maple that greets visitors near a front gate. These solar lights stay on from dusk to dawn this time of year—mid-June. Their bright, plastic “bubble” stems also illuminate a small area in the garden around the base of each spike. I find them attractive, though a bit unusual. Glad to have these solar lights that focus in on areas of the garden I want to highlight in the evenings, I am happy to be able to recommend them for their relative sturdiness and quality, though the multi-function light level feature is a bit confusing.

Well and securely packaged with included brackets for pillar or wall posting if you wish. On the heavy side, the solar collector is the size of a mini-Ipad. Still experimenting with the button on the back that activates the light, and gives you four options for the type of light you desire. (auto, low, high, etc). Assembled them, pressed the button on back, gave them sun time, and waited for nightfall. Nothing. Pressed button again, at night, and bingo-gorgeous light. They only stayed on a couple hours and went out. There will be a learning curve with the button and when and how you will master the four presses, and how much sun (booklet states 8 hour minimum) will be required for sustained lighting. I am confident and hopeful. The clear, iridescent section of the stem which duplicates the actual light's brilliance is stunning. So, a couple questions and little learning curve, in spite of the inclusion of a pretty good little manual. Have a feeling it will all work out.

Great for lighting up a flagpole! I was able to change the colors, but not the brightness. There is only one control button, and it only cycled the colors. The brightness it's on is perfect, however. For not having remote solar panels, the panels they do have are very adjustable The lights are very bright, and I have them set on the "whitest" light there is. They last through the night and into the crack of dawn. The clear plastic stem on the base really lights up, too! They light our flags just fine and they're on a 25-foot pole. The only thing that would make this set better is if they came with a remote. But with color options and brightness, the price is just right. I can recommend!

I am in awe with the intense level of brightness "XMCOSY" Brand solar spotlights provide! Although the product has three lighting levels, my preference is the brightest spotlight mode. I found by selecting this setting- from a side angle, this product-lluminates a wide area adjacent to our garage. These solar spotlights are exceptionally well-made with material consisting of HIGH IMPACT ABS PLASTIC. ALL PARTS appear durable and should last a long time. Product iis more powerful than I imagined. Undeniably this is the right product to spotlight sections of my semi-dark backyard space. Unlike some of the other, less costly solar lights I have outdoors, I realize that with a full solar charge this product is designed to illuminate from dusk to dawn. Undeniably, these well-constructed solar lights are built to last. Considering this product was ordered to illuminate portions of back yard space for an approaching July 4, family event, until then it's to be temporarily displayed near garage. Assembling the solar spotlights was simple and quick. Components for this 2 pack solar product include: adjustable spotlights, extended ground stakes, ACRYLIC suspended bubble lighting stakes *(3 photos as shown)* and reinforced ground stakes. In addition the packaging includes hardware for installs to walls. Although two install options are available for these solar lights, my preference is to stake the product in the ground. I like these solar spotlights dusk to dawn lighting function so much I plan to oder a few more as replacements to affix to top sections of backyard fence.
