While I do think this is a nice, solid and strong piece of jewelry, I don't understand how it is described as a wedding, promise, couple's or engagement ring. To me, this is more of a statement ring or one that could be paired with other chunky or stackable rings. The color is that of a shiny yellow gold and I haven't had any issues with tarnishing or fading. I wouldn't risk wearing it to swim or mess with cleaner, just because it's a coating and not real gold. The sizing is accurate in my opinion, so I would make sure to order the size that is needed, because otherwise it's not going to fit. The ring is quite comfortable, doesn't irritate the skin, and can be worn casually or when dressing up. I feel it's necessary to point out that this ring is absolutely NOT ADJUSTABLE. While it is an open type of design, it's not adjustable and is not meant to push or pull on the band because it doesn't move, nor is it supposed to. I ordered the Open Eternity Band, in silver. I love the simplicity of the design. I ordered the ring for my index finger, and it fits perfect. I don't typically wear a lot of jewelry, but I find I am slipping this ring on daily. It arrived ready to give as a gift, to a loved one. I like it so much, I just ordered the same ring in gold tone! Update 08/30/2025: I added photos of the gold tone ring I recently purchased. I now wear that ring on my left hand, as it complements my gold wedding and engagement ring. I loooove this ring! I bought it for my pinkie and I would like to pick another one up for my other hand. It’s easier to adjust smaller than adjust bigger so I would plan for that. It looks so cute and it fits very comfortably and well. It doesn’t catch on my clothes or my hair, I wore it while I washed my hair because I forgot to take it off 😅 It’s clearly very durable and good quality. it’s been my experience that sometimes in life we forget to tell our loved ones just how special they are. This little promise ring was a huge hit! I wasn’t sure about the size, so I guessed, and it was very easy to adjust the ring so that it fit her finger properly. It’s very attractive on her finger and doesn’t look cheap. And of course, a short carefully prepared speech as I presented it to her, really sealed the deal.
