The sound quality on this microphone is excellent. It’s nice and crisp and honestly reminds me of another, much more expensive microphone I own from a company that’s quite “Shure” of themselves. The build feels solid, and the included base is sturdy enough to hold it firmly in place. I really like that it comes with both a USB-C cable and an XLR cable, which gives me flexibility depending on how I set up my gear. The tap-to-mute feature works instantly, and having a separate headphone volume right on the mic is a great touch. I didn’t realize at first that it’s a shotgun-style mic, so you have to talk into the tip rather than the sides. That actually works in my favor since I’ll be using it on a mic arm, and it helps keep background noise out. My only small complaint is that the USB and XLR ports sit close to the base, so the cables can get in the way. A 90-degree adapter would make the setup cleaner, or a mic arm works perfectly to keep everything from interfering with each other. As a bonus, the RGB lighting is not too much - but does give it a clean, modern look without being to “over the top”.
