I'm by no means an audiophile. When I bought this, I had just asked around with friends to see if this was a good one for someone like me - I don't particularly care about the most crisp audio of all time, but I want to have nice sounding audio for content creation. Thankfully, this microphone is exactly what I was looking for. No fancy XLR setup, no audio interface you need to deal with, no confusing wires or programs. It's USB C to USB C. Plugging it straight into my computer was a breeze. The software is minimal, very clean, and you can hear live changes using the built-in recording tool. My friend (who is an audiophile) thinks the software is incredible for that feature alone. For the price, this is pretty much the best quality USB microphone you can get. Anything past this generally requires a fancier setup, so if you're like me and don't care about that, pick this up! It will do you well and you won't complain. ... show more

I love the mic. Looks great and feels great. I hate how there’s no option to have a white or silver colored windscreen. I also hated the cheap PVC cord, like I’m spending close to $300, at least give me a braided cable! I bought one for $6 and fixed the setup, also no mute button but I installed a macro program that lets me bind a key to mute the selected input source. No built in audio testing in the app (to my belief?) like Blue has but I used discord audio test to setup so I hope it’s enough. So I had a condenser mic connect to a Yamaha mixer, but it was a cheap mic with an expensive mixer so wanted to upgrade and also get rid of the mixer because of all the cable mess. I went with the Hyper Squadcast, and for a time it was good, but not sufficient for what I wanted. I ended up having to install Voicemeter Potato to get the best out my pic, but again it was not enough. I wanted to have a mic that allowed me to do voice over, streaming, recording without having to get the Shure sm7 or whatever. This Beacn mic is the best mic you can spend your money on. No mixer, no cable mess, just an excellent mic with fantastic software. This mic was created by the guys who made the Goxlr, so the quality is up to par. I ended up getting the Beacn Mix Create as well, but just because I wanted to you don't actually need it since you get the software mixer with just the mic. Think about it this way, the Shure mic everyone have is $400 this mic is $270 and the Mix Create is $200 so for an extra $70 you are getting more than what you will ever need. I have been using this microphone for about 2 weeks now. Here are my pros and cons and final thoughts. Pros: 1. Quality feel, feels sturdy and even when you have to move it on the mic arm you can tighten it with it's own tightening screw so you dont have to spin the microphone all the way around. 2. It can power 250 ohm headphones and the use of the microphones sound out of the box is actually pretty good. 3. The software is a GAME CHANGER. The amount of things you can do with this is unprecedented. It takes time to use the EQ and understand it but it is far more simplified then most. My one and only con. 1. Is it really worth it? Honestly I am not too sure. I was switching up from the Wave 3 Microphone and to be 100% honest, I think the Wave 3 Microphone was on par if not better then this. Now to be fair, they are two completely different microphones (with one of them being dynamic and one being condenser). One is for more of a broadcast voice and the other is for a more natural sounding, picking up all sounds, type of microphone. I think this is a solid 9/10 and you are definitely getting plenty with this device but if you want something on budget with the same quality. The Wave microphone (1 or 3) is definitely fantastic option. ... show more

I plugged it in and it didn’t sound great all for me I tried different settings for audio but it doesn’t fix the issue so but it looks amazing the beacn app is confusing
