I needed a wheelchair that could handle the tight corners in my apartment but also had the guts for outdoor use. This model nails it. The 5-speed adjustment is genius. I keep it on level 1 indoors, and it's so smooth and precise that I haven't bumped into a single piece of furniture. The 360-degree joystick makes navigation effortless. Then, when I go outside, I crank it up to level 4, and I can keep up with my walking friends without any trouble. The balance is perfect; it feels stable at all speeds. The armrests are sturdy enough for me to use when shifting my weight, which is a huge help. It’s the smartest and most well-thought-out piece of equipment I've owned.

Works great on solid floor or ground, sidewalk, parking lot etc. On Carpet it takes you to turn up the power to get it moving especially turning around on Carpet short or tall. Does not go well on driveway rock or sand individual wheels powered spin out and get stuck very easily. When folded up position its hard to keep it together to pick it up to put in the car pretty heavy 40-50 lbs. For the price and my use to go into large hospitals, stores, box stores, and sidewalks its great. I wish they sold a cup holder kit for the other arm of the chair. Easy to assemble and use.
