I disassembled the pack for this review. The battery pack consists of three 18650-size lithium cells wired in parallel, a safety circuit, and wires with a connector to match ADT equipment. Workmanship is good with quality welds, proper insulating rings, and double-layer heat-shrink covering. The cells themselves have no brand or capacity markings. A three-cycle test of each cell resulted in an average measured capacity of 2,700mAh. So, the 3 cells in parallel will provide 8,100mAh. While this is lower than the claimed 10,800mAh capacity, it is more than the 7,500mAh original ADT part. It should work nicely as a replacement pack in ADT units.

Although this battery pack is made for ADT Security Panels, it is just 3 typical 3600mAh 18650 connected in parallel. There are 3 wires coming out from the battery pack - Red (+), Black (-), and White in the middle. I plan to use it for a DIY project using a USB-C 18650 charge module board (see attached photo) with only 2 wires, "+" and "-". I did ask the seller about the white wire in the middle. I was told that I can ignore for charging. It seems to work with my setup shown in the attached photo. Since I have a 3-pin connector, I just keep the 3-pin connector that comes with the battery pack. Otherwise, I'd just cut out the 3-pin connector and solder whatever as needed. The only unknown is if there is a longer term impact without using the white wire. I guess it might have something to do with balance charging to make sure all 3 individual 18650s are charge fully. I hope these batteries are high quality and were picked with same charging characteristics thus the would in sync. Well, only time will tell on the longevity of this battery pack with my own custom charging.

I wanted this battery as a spare when the ADT installed battery went dead. Coincidentally we had a long power outage prior to delivery and the alarm system was giving the beep noise to replace battery. So it went it after delivery. It works fine. The old battery lasted almost three years. By the way getting battery direct from ADT not only costs more but doesn't guarantee quality. The first installed battery lasted a year and there were issues with system. ADT came to repair and replaced battery free of charge because the batch of batteries were defective....if it wasn't for system issues we would have bought not knowing ADT issue.

I bought this battery pack to use in a solar gardening project. I wanted something that could potentially run for a long time if we have a few cloudy days in a row and the solar charger doesn't have a chance to replenish the battery. I hooked the battery up to a voltmeter and got a reading of 3.9V. I also connected the battery to a USB output and ran that through a signal tester. I let it run for over two hours. The voltage never dropped below 4V and the battery never got hotter than the starting temperature.

This battery pack came well packaged and appears to be made as good as the original. I had no issues installing or with it taking a charge the connection was secure. I will update if anything changes but in my opinion, this is good as the original.
