Description

Xiii is a remake of the cult first-person shooter that was initially released in 2003. You play as “xiii”, a man without an identity, in a solo campaign with numerous twists and turns. Inspired by the eponymous graphic novel, the game features a completely reinvented and unique cel-shading design. In xiii, players can also take part in fierce multiplayer fights. You wake up, wounded and with amnesia, on a deserted Beach on the East Coast. The only clues as to your identity are a tattoo of the number xiii near your collarbone and a Locker key. Even though your memory is failing, you discover that you have the reflexes of a highly trained professional Fighter. You set off in search of your past, discovering that you played a role in the assassination of the President of the United States of America, and revealing the most astounding conspiracy ever hatched in the country's history. Had an issue with my steel book being damaged and made a quick return other than that I’m on mission 3 and haven’t had game breaking bugs I’m enjoying it for what it was and is. I’m on Xbox series X and it’s been fine for me.

The original XIII is one of my favorite games of all time, so I've been waiting anxiously for this since it was announced. I'm trying to play it on my original Xbox One and there are tons of render skips, textures that don't load, and the controls are kind of jumpy. It also has more enemies and many have assault rifles, so the overall feel of the game is much different and not really in a good way. During the rooftop mission I fell and died and then couldn't continue or quit, so I just gave up. Hopefully it will work better once I get a Series X since it has better hardware and they'll hopefully have some patches out by then, since this is a huge letdown. I'll just play the original on my PC for now. ... show more

Really wanted to like XIII. I remember it from... I remember it. Loved this game whenever that was. This remake though... Just no. Gotta stop remaking these games. I played Black few weeks ago & it doesn't hold up well. Lot better than this redo. Seriously, I debated buying this. Read the bad reviews but figured it'd at least b fun right? It's not. The amount of glitchy crap you hv to deal with takes any amount of fun you could have away. I fell above the map!? Above it! Jumped on top of something and floated around the map. Sound was always off sync. Hard to play. Turned sound off a few times. Hard to enjoy. Remember the game you loved that had that comic book look & feel the way you do by staying away from this cash grab. Wish I had listened. My 16 yr old even had a hard time finding his way thru it. It's not hard like dark souls; it's hard like can't bare to continue playing. Ruined this fond memory. ... show more

Came in great condition but i was immediately disappointed upon playing the game. Honestly don’t even bother playing this one just get the original on ps2, pc or the original xbox if you can find a copy.
