It is difficult to find a price-competitive robot, which combines such a robust sensor package and robotic arm into such an affordable kit. One thing to know: I doubt if many children would be successfull in assembling this kit by themselves. I would say, though, that a pair of small hands is required for a couple of the steps; and if possible, her name should be Patience. One other critical note to prospective buyers: the Support department for this robot is exceptionally responsive and helpful for answering questions. This may well be the most important aspect, when considering a product of this degree of complexity.
