  • Educational Insights Design & Drill Robot Take Apart Toy
Color: Multi
I recently bought the Educational Insights Design & Drill Robot Take Apart Toy for my preschooler, and it has quickly become one of our favorite toys! This 23-piece set is not only fun but also educational, making it a perfect addition to our toy collection. Educational Value: What I love most about this toy is its emphasis on STEM learning. It encourages my child to engage in hands-on activities that promote problem-solving and critical thinking. As they build and take apart the robot, they learn about cause and effect, and develop fine motor skills and spatial awareness. Quality and Design: The toy is made from durable, high-quality plastic that withstands the wear and tear of active play. The vibrant colors and friendly robot design capture my child's attention and make playtime enjoyable. The drill is easy to use, and my child can safely operate it with minimal supervision. Ease of Use: The assembly process is straightforward, with pieces that easily fit together and stay securely in place. My child loves using the drill to attach and detach the robot’s parts, making it a highly interactive experience. It’s delightful to see their creativity shine as they experiment with different configurations. Engagement: This toy keeps my child engaged for long periods. They enjoy the challenge of building the robot and often come up with their own designs, which sparks their imagination. It's also great for cooperative play; my child often invites friends or siblings to join in, promoting teamwork and social skills. Final Thoughts: The Educational Insights Design & Drill Robot Take Apart Toy is an excellent investment for any parent looking to blend fun and education. It's a wonderful gift for birthdays or holidays and a fantastic way to introduce young children to basic engineering concepts. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a quality STEM toy that will entertain and educate! ... show more

  • Great toy, with a couple issues
Color: Multi
My 3 year old son is robot CRAZY! I thought this would be a perfect Christmas gift for him. He was very excited to play with it at first. He still plays with it because it is a robot, but not for nearly as long. The parts are very durable. I have two complaints with the product. 1 - the stickers do not align well. For example the stickers to cover the body and the legs are slightly too large for the space so they overhang. I've tried to smooth them on to the side so they don't peal up. I expect in time they will peal off and leave behind a mess. 2 - When moving the arms the screws come loose. It seems there should have been a way to design this so they do not come loose and fall off, unless you intend to take them off. All in all, this is a good toy, especially given the price. ... show more

  • Cute, Fun intro to STEAM for Preschoolers in Summertime
Color: Multi
This is an awesome summertime toy for preschoolers who like to stay busy! Mine put this thing together, took it apart and rearranged the colors of the bolts 3 times in an hour and spend another 30 minutes figuring out how he wanted to use the stickers. So, straight out of the box this was a hit for a 3.5 year old. I like that it works on fine motor skills and that there are options for how to decorate it with bolts and stickers. My kiddo was interested in following the look of the box for about 5 minutes and then decided he wanted to come up with his own way. It was a little weird that the package had different colored bolts pictured in different numbers than what came in the box. ... show more

  • Great hands-on learning toy
Color: Multi
My son got this for Christmas. He stayed busy for a while putting all the screws in himself and then decorating it with the enclosed stickers. It's a great starter toy for teaching how to put things together, take them apart. The screws are a decent size too, I always worry about loose pieces with little kids. ... show more

  • Not as "customizable" as you think
Color: Multi
I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my three-year-old. Once opened, the screwdriver was in two pieces, like many other reviewers' experiences. At first it appeared that the clear please can just be put into the orange handle piece, however - it immediately falls out. I think this is a defect because it will not stay in at all, making it practically unusable. Despite the defective piece, this toy is really not all that customizable, at least, not in the way you think. My three year old was quickly bored with it. Only the arms are removable. The customization consists of the included stickers and changing the colors of the screws. There is no real "building" of the robot. Overall, this was kind of a bust for us. Might be better for a younger toddler. ... show more

  • quality item
Color: Multi
Nice quality, Exactly as shown. Enough challenge for a 4 1/2 year old (with supervision) to make them feel very proud that they can actually build something themselves. It's not an action figure, can't be easily twisted during play time without damaging it. Great for spending quality time with your kid or grandkids, but I keep it with the box and let them build it over again each time so no parts will get lost. ... show more
