  • A Solid Card
Style: RX 7900 GRE
I purchased this to upgrade my aging ASUS Strix 5700XT (the one with the coil whine and screws too long to have effective cooling. Not great from the start.) and be able to play newish and new games at a good ultrawide 1440p framerate. In this it's been great. I've been able to play Cyberpunk 2077 (w/o RT, of course, but I personally don't care about it at the moment, maybe when it doesn't tank frames simply being enabled I'll care, but until then I'm willing to go for better frames overall with reasonable resolutions) at over 60 fps solidly in just about any setting. It has some dips but it was nothing like I was playing at before with frames in the mid 30s to 40s with more settings turned down. I'm able to play SF6 in WT and BH at ~40-60 fps at that same resolution. I get over 60-90 fps in RDR2 at 1440p UW. I am also running two monitors off this card. Both 144hz monitors, one ASUS 24" 1080p and a Gigabyte 34"Ultrawide 1440p. It has handled them admirably and without being loud or too hot. It's currently at 51 C after running for over an hour with SF6 and Firefox on separate monitors. It is basically silent. I rarely hear anything even when running tests in games. I may even be doing it a disservice by having it stuffed into a Meshify C where I can't install a fan directly in front of it because it is a large card and dwarfs my old 5700XT. Overall, I feel I could upgrade my AM4 system to a much better CPU and extra RAM and this card would still be worthwhile to upgrade to AM5 later on. I've been very satisfied with it. ... show more

  • A lot for your $$$ A lot for your $$$
Style: RX 7900 GRE
My MSI 3090 TI burnt out :( so I needed a new GPU. I didn't want to spend over 1K again so I first cheaped out and bought the 7600. Don't waste your time with that card if you plan on gaming. Benchmarks were 50% at best of what my 3090 was. It could barely maintain 80FPS on CS2. I returned and purchased this card hoping it would at least be close. To my surprise all benchmarks have it about the same as my 3090 and for less than 1/2 the price. It holds a steady 240 FPS on CS2. I would definitely recommend this card if you are looking for a good card for a great price. ... show more

  • Great All Around Card
Style: RX 7900 GRE
Replaced my Wifes aging 5700xt on a 34 Inch Ultrawide she was getting around 50 fps on medium-low palworld. Random crashes etc. Slapped in this bad boy with a 5700g processor, now she can run the game at high 144 fps capped with fluid motion frames. uncapped 150-210. Her old card was a xfx also, no problems what so ever just got to the 4 year old mark so it couldn't handle the newer games. The 7900 Gre is one of the best budget cards right now. With some overclocking it will trade blows with higher priced cards. Also more vram at a lower price point than the green team so this should last her another 4 years just fine. Get this card if you do not care that much about ray tracing, if you do go team green. ... show more

  • RX7900GRE is my perfect fit!! RX7900GRE is my perfect fit!!
Style: RX 7900 GRE
I just purchased the 7900 GRE and am happy to say this hit the spot that’s been itching me for a while now!! I had some real buyers remorse after getting the 7900XT- thinking I waisted 200 bucks for performance I honestly don’t need. So I returned the XT and got the GRE and I have to say, after seeing performance from both cards I am floored this card is 200 dollars cheaper. It runs everything I’ve thrown at it and keeps thermals way down compared to the power hungry XT. I highly recommend the GRE to anyone that wants smooth immersive gameplay that doesn’t give a flying F about insane frames that truly were unnecessary for my personal setup anyway. Yep I’m a 4k tv guy- but this thing pumps out some frames on my 144hz monitor as well so don’t judge too hard haha. ... show more

  • Worth it
Style: RX 7900 GRE
This is the best GPU I've ever owned, personally. I have my switch set to factory settings, not factory overclock and I play Hell Let Loose all the time and it's usually slightly above 200 FPS on max settings. I don't remember what the framerates on BF6 were, but I was playing it maxed out and it ran smooth. I tried Sea of Thieves yesterday on max settings and it was around 340 FPS. Is it the best card out there? No, not even close but for the price this thing has a wallop to it. I highly recommend! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I'm used to the NVIDIA software and I think NVIDIA software is more user friendly. ... show more

  • 1440p legend
Style: RX 7900 GRE
Went from a plain 4060 to this bad boy. I have doubled frames and personally FSR looks better than DLSS. got it for 620 after tax. Pair it with a 9700x if you know how to oc. Comparable to a 7800x3d. i get 120fps on ultra in almost anything

Nice upgrade, Runs cool around 60°-70° at most for heavy games. Installed on a PCIX 3, i7 6th gen CPU (old Rig) and Runs games very nice (MW2,RDR2,Ghost of Tsushima,Space marines2..) all at Max mostly. Added a supportive stick , as it is a long/massive Card and could use support being vertically in the case. Very nice upgrade, quite and works fine on old PC. ... show more
