This majestic Downswept Douglas Fir tree is 6.5 feet tall and 49 inches in diameter at the bottom, giving the tree a wide profile. Molded from real tree branches for an authentic living tree appearance, this tree features our trademarked ‘Feel Real’ technology. Hundreds of crush-resistant polyethylene tips form full bodied branches, creating a tree with remarkable realism. The tree is designed with a hinged branch system that allows the branches to swing down for a quick and simple set-up and fold back in for easy storage. Set aside 45-60 minutes after assembly to properly shape the tree by peeling back the branches and pulling the tips apart to give the branches a more full-bodied look. This Christmas Tree assembles fairly easy. The lights are series of plug ins like an extension cord. At first I thought there was no way that this tree would "fluff up" into something that didn't look like. Charlie Brown tree but my patience was rewarded. You must take your time and unfold or pull up and out the branches. It is pleasing to see the end result. I could even plug in the star at the end due to the fact that there is an extra out on the end of the extension cord within the tree. Lights are fairly warm and bright (not LED). The only caveat I have is that the lights on the top of the tree are very sparse. It is obvious. This needs some attention for a balanced look. Good tree overall. ... show more

I did not read the description carefully. I thought it came with LED lights. When I noticed them getting warm, I knew these weren't. They also do not blink. I put it on a small table, so I had to get a green extension cord to be able to plug it in. I was disappointed that there is no on and off switch. You have to plug and unplug it. All of that said, it is a beautifully shaped tree, it looks real, and it has plenty of lights. I just wish I had researched it more. This is a review of the 4 1/2 foot version of this tree. I was tempted to give this beautiful tree 5 stars. We bought it to replace wonderful 4 1/2 footer we bought at target a couple of decades ago that had finally given up the ghost. This tree by "National Tree' is really nice. Aesthetically, one couldn't ask for a prettier tree. It didn't take long at all to the get the branches properly folded out and into their proper positions. The same thing you need to do with any artificial tree after removing it from the box after a long 11 months in storage. The only thing I found lagging in this three is the idiotic arrangement of the wiring. In every two piece artificial tree I have ever owned a SINGLE male plug from the top half comes down not much further than the top of the bottom half of the tree. Why? Well, it's because that is where the SINGLE female end of the bottom tree half is located. There is a single male plug for the top half that plugs conveniently into a single female plug for the bottom half of the tree. Well, not on this one. To begin with, there are a total of 5 female/male plugs that all get plugged in one after another so that you end up with a totem pole of 5 plugs all clustered at the base of the tree. The top half has two plugs that come plugged into each other and then need to run all the way to the bottom of the tree to form the top two plugs in the 5-plug totem pole along with the three plugs from the bottom half of the tree. To begin with the plugs in the top half are wound around the trunk of the tree so that they need to get unwound in order to stretch all the way to the bottom to be plugged into the three bottom half plugs. Its a pain in the gluteous maximus. That wouldn't be such a pain except no where in the instructions does it let you know that its going to be such a chore. I mean who the heck thinks they are going to require instructions with a two piece artificial Xmas tree for goodness sake??? I finally had to look at the instructions because I couldn't work out where to plug in the top half of the tree! It never occurred to me that it plugged in all the way down at the bottom of the tree! Finally, the happy result of all this is that if you have a lit tree topper, which we do, the short little chord that usually, with no problem, reaches the female half of the female/male plug for the top half of the tree no longer does reach it because that plug is now all the way down at the bottom of the tree- instead a short distance down from the top. So you need to use a bloody extension chord, threaded through the branches, in order to plug in the tree topper. Like I said, a pain the rear. I suppose we will be used to it after this year so it wont seem such a bother next year. But still. Bad design on the wiring set up. All in all though- it is a beautiful tree. This tree is Beautiful! I ordered the 4.5 foot. I gave it 4 stars because whoever wrapped the lights did not do a great job, the wrap job of the lights looked like someone or something said, yeah not into just get it done and be done NEXT lol.. with a little love and some finesse, I got the lights where they needed to be( with out undoing them all) and where the light wires were super sagging got them tight up into the tree. Over all I am very very pleased with this tree and how full and real looking it is! Yes I would recommend this tree! ... show more

The Mrs. and I decided on an artificial tree this year after almost 40 years of live Christmas trees. What made us go artificial was the fact that last year we paid $90.00 for a seven foot tree. 90 bucks for something that I tossed the week after Christmas. Nope, not doing that. I researched different trees and from the description this looked like the most realistic. And it does. After fluffing out the branches, that took about a half hour, the Mrs. decorated it. My job was easy this year. The tree already has the lights on it, which was my job. A win for me! I’ll order a bag for it in the next day or so to keep it in as good a shape as possible. I just unpacked the tree for the first time( I bought it at the end of the season last year.) The branches are more dense at the top and less dense towards the bottom resulting in a scrawny looking. Tree:( Also, the wire for the top tier was ripped, so the lights don’t work in the top section. I was really excited about this tree, but it leaves a lot to be desired.
