But what really sealed the deal for me—especially as a 4K OLED user—were two standout features: 1. Superior Custom Resolution Support The 9070 XT allows you to run intermediate resolutions like 1732p and 1800p, natively. Unlike Nvidia’s archaic Control Panel which fails at support modern monitors, AMD handles it automatically in games, no setup required. These resolutions sit perfectly between 1440p and 4K, giving you the clarity of near-4K visuals while gaining back valuable FPS. No manual tweaks. Just clean support straight from AMD’s drivers. For OLED gamers, this is a game-changer. 2. Vivid Gaming HDR Color Boost With HDR enabled, AMD’s Vivid Gaming feature brings the screen to life. Deeper contrast, more vibrant tones. Works good and gives me near double FPS in some games vs my rtx 3070. When I upgraded the card I did everything the right way by uninstalling my old gpu drivers. However, I was having an issue where the 9070 XT would not output to 2 monitors. I had to uninstall and reinstall the drivers 4 times before everything worked smoothly. The card currently runs extremely fast and quite cool. Will update review later if I notice any issues with the card.

Got if for $699 which, in the current Market, is a good value. I personally believe in 2027 prices will only increase more for DRAM and anything that uses memory such as GPUs. This card is so incredibly cool and quiet. Which you would hope so, considering it's 350mm length. Make sure you can fit it in your case before purchasing! Im using a Lian Li A3. With a full size ATX PSU it does fit, albeit just barely. Hotspot temp doesn't go near 80c while gaming, Edge temps are usually 57-60c under load. This is with the card barely making 36ish DB of noise. No issues for me personally with latest drivers (26.6.4) This is a stock power envelope card, so it draws 290-310w under full load. Im sure that's helpful for the low temps I'm seeing. Running it at 4K and even in very intensive games like; - Monster Hunter Wilds - Borderlands 4 - Ff7 Rebirth I have yet to find a game I can't run near 120fps average with tweaked settings.

A bit noisy under load with stock settings - close to a hair dryer, you can hear how much air its moving - and its freakin huge, but it does a solid job of self managing temps and does exactly what i need it to. FYI for you linux users out there - works perfectly with MESA, zero problems so far.
