Right out of the box, performance was smooth, clean, and artifact-free. I ran my usual game library with Temporal AA only, and everything just worked. No ghosting. No latency. No “Frame Generation” band-aids. Just real performance, rendered natively, with none of the quirks that plague fake frames from DLSS. But what really sealed the deal for me—especially as a 4K OLED user—were two standout features: 1. Superior Custom Resolution Support The 9070 XT allows you to run intermediate resolutions like 1732p and 1800p, natively. Unlike Nvidia’s archaic Control Panel which fails at support modern monitors, AMD handles it automatically in games, no setup required. These resolutions sit perfectly between 1440p and 4K, giving you the clarity of near-4K visuals while gaining back valuable FPS. No manual tweaks. Just clean support straight from AMD’s drivers. For OLED gamers, this is a game-changer. 2. Vivid Gaming HDR Color Boost With HDR enabled, AMD’s Vivid Gaming feature brings the screen to life. Deeper contrast, more vibrant tones. I didn’t need to dive into archaic menus or calibrate anything. Just one toggle, and the colors pop like they should. 3. If you care about how your games actually feel and look in real-time, not just synthetic benchmarks and buzzwords, you owe it to yourself to give AMD a serious look. Very few cards have impressed me to the point that I am perfectly happy with everything from aesthetics, to performance. I have had a hard time settling in on a card since I upgraded from my RTX 2070, first I tried the RX 7800 XT and was mildly happy, then a 4070 Super, which was alright, but not what I was looking for, then a 5070, again... not what I was looking for... then this guy showed up... it has been a DREAM COME TRUE! I was very happy with my 2070, but it was lagging behind in some of the titles I was playing, the rocky road that lead to this card, has me loving this card just as much as my 2070 back in the day. This thing runs everything I throw at it, high to ultra settings, over 60fps with no FSR or Frame Gen, but can easily break above 90+ in demanding titles with a little FSR. When you compare this card to the 5070 Ti, you are getting an absolute STEAL! It outperforms that card in many titles, and costs less. Now... this is a large card, it's built very sturdy, and very beefy. I have it horizontal right now and I have seen no sign of gpu sag, that tells me it's built very well. It's a very quiet card, even when the fans are ramped up pretty high, I can barely hear them. It does get a little bit hot, but nothing out of the ordinary for an AMD card, it does a good job at keeping temps in check though. FAIR WARNING! If you are an Nvidia user and you're switching to AMD, be 100% sure that you DDU your old drivers AND clear your shader cache, otherwise you WILL experience stability issues, but this is almost always 100% user error, due to ignorance. If you want a stable experience, DDU, clear shaders, install new drivers, and enjoy. I can see myself using this card for many years to come, I don't think I will need to upgrade for quite a while, me and this card are two peas in a pod, and I love having it in my rig. Last but not least... as an avid 3D printing enthusiast... this thing is awesome! Being able to 3D print new wings and change up the look whenever I want to is super sick!

Got if for $699 which, in the current Market, is a good value. I personally believe in 2027 prices will only increase more for DRAM and anything that uses memory such as GPUs. This card is so incredibly cool and quiet. Which you would hope so, considering it's 350mm length. Make sure you can fit it in your case before purchasing! Im using a Lian Li A3. With a full size ATX PSU it does fit, albeit just barely. Hotspot temp doesn't go near 80c while gaming, Edge temps are usually 57-60c under load. This is with the card barely making 36ish DB of noise. No issues for me personally with latest drivers (26.6.4) This is a stock power envelope card, so it draws 290-310w under full load. Im sure that's helpful for the low temps I'm seeing. Running it at 4K and even in very intensive games like; - Monster Hunter Wilds - Borderlands 4 - Ff7 Rebirth I have yet to find a game I can't run near 120fps average with tweaked settings.

Works good and gives me near double FPS in some games vs my rtx 3070. When I upgraded the card I did everything the right way by uninstalling my old gpu drivers. However, I was having an issue where the 9070 XT would not output to 2 monitors. I had to uninstall and reinstall the drivers 4 times before everything worked smoothly. The card currently runs extremely fast and quite cool. Will update review later if I notice any issues with the card.

When the card work it works amazingly 100fps on almost every game at 1440p but and a big but.. the drivers crash almost every other day after having it for a year. I've tried alot of things to fix it but to no avail.
