Overall this is a decent topper but it’s not “extra thick”. Box for the Cal King size was 17x13x7 inches so I was a bit concerned it was the wrong size; but it was fine. Very tightly vacuum packed (that’s fine, it makes sense) and it opened up to the expected size and fit perfectly. Very soft fabric and stitching was well done. Polyester fill as expected and labeled. This weighed in at 10 pounds so it’s not a thin pad; it’s a pillow topper. My only concern is the description calling it “extra thick”. Compared to what ? I picked this up as a second unit to use when I strip and wash the entire bed set so I can put a fresh bed back together with alternates without waiting for 4 loads of king size wash and dry to cycle back in. So, the original topper is a JCPenney model that I have had for at least 10 years. The new topper is 33% heavier but it’s not as thick as the lighter one. The fill material is different. They are both 100 polyester but the fibers must be different. The new one compresses easier and flattens out more so it actually seems thinner when you push on it when it has a “slippery” glide between the top and bottom. It’s hard to describe but suggests a different micro architecture in the PET filaments. It sleeps fine and that’s probably the most important thing. Obviously, I can’t comment on the long term durability, but I will follow up in a year or two or sooner if something changes.

High quality mattress topper for a Temperpedic mattress... I know, I know, Temperpedic mattresses are not supposed to need any kind of a "topper", but after 10 years or so, there's a definite "indent", on my side of the bed, and I'm in fairly good shape and not more than 10 pounds over ideal weight.... so I figured I'd give this a try, and it definitely makes a nice difference, it smoothed out the "indent" and makes my bed more comfortable. Just be sure to fully fluff it up before use by letting it "air out" for several days, before using. The weight on this California King style, is something like 11 pounds.... this tells me there's real "substance" here. And the noted higher 900 GSM fill compared to the typical 700 GSM fill, is another mark of high quality that shouldn't be overlooked. This topper is well made and top of the line, it doesn't get any better than this. Will recommend to friends and family.

I let this topper sit out for 2 days as recommended before putting it on my bed. It fits very well, the elastic sides wrap around the mattress easily. The padded part covers the entire mattress. The padding feels dense but not lofty and is not lumpy. You won’t sink into it like you would a gel or foam mattress pad. I like that it creates just enough cushion and softness to help alleviate pressure points on my extra firm mattress without removing the firmness that I need for my hip and back pain.

I feel like I'm climbing into a princess bed every night! Incredibly comfy. We have a queen, and it fits nicely. Just a teeny bit of fluff gathering at the edges, but it seems to provide even more support, as I am usually a side sleeper. It feels luxurious, and I'm now waking up in the morning without any back pain! It provides that teeny extra bit of support for all those droopy spots on an aging mattress, and is definitely more cost effective while we save for a new bed. I'm a little nervous to wash it, as I'm unsure what all that extra fluff will do, but I use wool balls in my drier, I'll air-fluff it back into shape. Overall really happy with this mattress pad!

This is a nice mattress topper. It helped the guest bed be much more comfortable , or much less uncomfortable , at the very least. I haven’t been using it long, but it doesn’t seem cheap or anything & did well in the washing machine on gentle cycle.. if it falls apart anytime soon I will update my review & rating.
