It’s not bad, but it’s not the best. I gave it 4 stars because obviously it will not keep anything safe if a burglar gets into your home. It’s easy to get into with a metal pry bar I believe, but it would require some effort. It’s great to have if you have small children in the home or if you are trying to stay compliant with local/state laws regarding your firearms being locked up. I just don’t believe it’s worth the $110 price tag however, seems more like a $70-$80 unit, MAX. I did need something that would mount to the wall so I chose this option as opposed to other side mounting pistol safes. If you decide this is what your looking for, pay the extra $5 bucks and get the “with gas” option as the door opens softer.

I bought this little safe not to store firearms in, but to keep some small paperwork and financial things locked up in my office. I've had it for a couple months now and I've been completely satisfied with it. It's always opened quickly and easily for me by my fingerprint, which is very convenient for quick access.

Very well built, solid steel, nice finish, feels like good quality materials. I mounted one in the garage so I can step out of my car and secure my car weapon right there. What's unique is how the lid opens towards you when you use the fingerprint or combo. You hear the motor engage and then the door/lid flops directly towards you, but a cable stops it at 90 degrees. Nice to not have to fiddle with a key, although there's a key back up in case you forget everything or the battery dies. Fingerprint reader works good, key pad works good. Mounting hardware included, and the screws are stout. I mounted to the studs and it is a solid mount. I'll be buying one each for my sons. Interior isn't massive. I can put one full size pistol (HK USP .45) and a wallet or two compact Glocks with a little space. Good purchase.

Torn between 3 and 4 stars. The safe works well and feels like its good quality although I have a few small issues. Capacity is as advertised. I keep a full sized pistol in mine and it fits well. I like that I have options for how I can open it and that it has an internal light. The fingerprint sensor isn't the most reliable. I added the same finger multiple times in different positions to see if it’ll help but I cant get it to be perfect. If this is designed to keep a weapon I may depend on to keep myself/ my family safe, I feel like it needs a better sensor that’ll open more reliably when I need it to. Second is the magazine holder/ pouch. It comes with an adhesive strip with velcro which seems like its strong but every time I open the safe the thing has fallen off. Its Super annoying and ive only been keeping one magazine that isnt even fully loaded in there. Its supposed to hold 3 of them. The mounting hole distance also isn't ideal. In the US, most wall studs are 16in on center. I feel a safe designed to hold heavy items like this one should be more mindful of that. I wouldn’t trust a drywall anchor to hold this up or prevent someone from just snatching the safe so I reinforced the stud bay with a 2x4 behind where I wanted the safe before mounting but most people probably wont want to do that.

I purchased this because it was one of the only wall mounted systems I could find, in the configuration I wanted. Upon arrival, the safe appeared to be constructed of high quality materials. But after I installed it, the door doesn't pop open. Tha gas shock doesn't engage until it's almost half way open. When it unlocks I need to pull the door open to get it to work properly. I am very disappointed. I wouldn't rely on it for an emergency situation.

Title says it all. Works as it should, was a decent price, and has yet to fail me. I have had pretty accurate readings with the biometrics too, pooping the door successfully on majority of first attempts. If you are buying this $100 safe with the expectation of Apple biometrics from 1k devices or such, then you are not very intelligent. Practice opening it, train with it, check it regularly. Fits a large sized pistol with ease and extra magazines, but the stick on holder has been useless in my experience (you can’t stash an arm in there and have the magazines hanging up without awkward placement or the arm sticking out of the workable space; just place the magazines on the bottom and the arm on top). Absolutely recommend!
