Easily comparable to my neighbors Backflip and in some ways better. Mounting and latching hardware is all metal (mostly aluminum). First it’s made in China if that’s a issue for you keep looking. With that said I found the quality very good. I have owned two (2) bak flips and this is just as good. Install was easy took me a hour by myself just cruising. My advice is leave everything loose let it float till you get it lined up and then give it a final torque. The instructions tell you to tighten the rails and I found myself loosing everything so I could adjust it. Once I did that it was perfect. I have only one concern. Will the paint fade quickly will the rubber crack after one summer? The made in China label has me worried a bit, only time will tell for the savings it’s worth a shot. ... show more

I was very happy with this cover when I got it. It took a short time to install, and get positioned for water-tightness. My son and I had it on in an hour. It has only allowed tiny amounts of water into the bed at high pressure carwashes. however, I bought it i12/28/20, and didn't install it until the end of January, 2021. It is rotting through as the pictures show. Fairly tricky to reach out to Xcover, but I found the info in the Q&A section on Amazon. Email and pictures sent...Stay tuned... 10/30/23 - They sent me a complete new cover, all I needed was to send them some photos of the old one. That is pretty good customer service! ... show more

    • Panels bubbled up after 6 months
It was easy to install but 2 of the panels have started to lift/bubble after 6 months.

    • One year and three months it has really bad rusting on three panels.
This has a problem with the outer seals of each panel. Don’t waste your money unless you live in a very dry climate…

    • Thumb Nuts
This was easy to install, loved the fit and it looked good. The thumb nuts keep backing off and have to constantly keep an eye on them. 3 days ago I tightened up the thumb screws and today the whole top left the truck doing 70 mph down I 35 in Dallas. Last time I saw it was hitting the front of a van and by the time I got back to it, it was a crumpled mess. There is a big problem with these nuts and now I am out a cover and the money spent.
