The product is a great idea. The ideology behind it is wonderful. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the instructions. The instructions/tutorial are absolutely trash. from the directions on the paper to the YouTube video, I had to pretty much figure it out on my own. But once I got it mounted, it worked perfect.

I bought this item as it was the only one on Amazon that looked like it worked for the original Xbox One. Well, it technically works but it's definitely not worth the price charged. Its a hassle to remove and add the controllers into their holders, and the whole mount for the system is fairly cheap. It does the technical job though so if that's all your interested in then by alleans, but the functionality of it is worth $10. Returned and bought a floating shelf.

What a piece of junk... I expected that it wouldn't be that great, but it's the only real mount I can find to mount the original One. The materials I'm sure cost less than $1 and it's more expensive than the quality $20 mount that holds my slim snug and secure to the wall. This thing so loosely holds it that I used the plastic piece meant for the power cord to try and secure the bottom and the string to come over the top of the xbox and then used fishing line to tie it to the other two wires so my cats or children don't accidentally knock it off the wall. The design and materials are very cheap. Would not buy again or suggest to anyone. Even after what I did, it still flops around even just touching the power button. Absolutely the worst mount I've ever bought.

I would not trust this at all. The instructions are pretty well detailed and even has a QR code for a video. The video is alright but goes fast if you are trying to follow along. Even has a template. That’s nice. My issue is it seems real flimsy. It also blocks the cd port even though all the promotional stuff is that it shouldn’t, if I drop the string lower the whole Xbox looks like it is about to fall out.... lastly the images show one string to hold up the Xbox but I received two. One for each side. I don’t know if this had anything to do with the issue. 2 stars because I mean it did hold it up for the 5 minutes I trusted it to hold. I couldn’t convince myself to leave it up any longer.

It took me a while to figure out how the knots worked, but once I had it together, it works perfectly. I beefed up the screws in the wall a bit just to be safe, but the unit is pretty secure and the controllers are easy to take off and put back. Would definitely recommend!
