I've been using a bluetooth headset with my helmet for years and the models I have experience with are able to connect with other riders. However, I have never had the need to connect/communicate with others except for testing the headsets as I prefer to ride solo. Therefore, the XGP X1 fits the bill for my riding style. The X1 is easy to install and comes with two helmet clips in case one breaks. The speakers are easily positioned in my Shoei RF1200 and provide clear audio on calls and while listening to music with more than adequate volume although I tend to listen to music on the quieter settings. The two microphones included, one boom, one flush mount, provide clear comms while on calls and per feedback from those on the other end, above 60 mph, the calls are still clear with no wind noise transmitted. The best part of the X1 is the price. For under $30 (with coupon) at the time of this review, you are getting a solid bluetooth headset assuming you do not need to communicate with other riders. I've never had an issue with my last two XGP headsets (other than breaking one helmet mount) and the X1 will hopefully deliver the same dependability. Two thumbs up!

I looked everywhere for a simple com system with voice control and decent speakers for a solo rider as myself. This com system is perfect if your a solo rider. If you just want something that plays music, has voice control, and good speakers, then this product is it. I did not want to spend $200+ for cardio since i dont need to talk to others or wanted to pay the price for JBL speakers (JBL speakers makes you think anything else is worse but that's not true, its just marketing). I'm not sure if this connects to another unit ( maybe 1) but if you just want something that works and affordable this is works. However if you want a device with a mesh system to talk to multiple riders, then get something else. I don't normally write reviews so i thought I make this one long since there seems to be no good information on Bluetooth devices for motorcycle riders unless your revzilla or cardio

Easy to install, music sounds good, call quality sounds good, all buttons and functions work correctly. So far I’ve only tested at home, will have to test while riding to get the full sound experience. Also comes with everything you might need to set it up and connects very easily (iPhone user). Overall good quality for the price and good start point if you can’t afford a cardo and just want to be able to listen to music and take calls. Will come back and update review after riding with it.

Not sure it's a good idea to leave feedback--I tell you why. I'm afraid this product will become limited in supply and more expensive because once other users discover like I have that this is the best com system (I will say the best) on the market today!!! I would give this 10 stars if possible. If you just want a simple com that will play music and listen to navigation commands you can't go wrong; only 3 simple buttons to control functions. The music plays better that my "way more" expensive name brand com systems and yes I have both of the top brands on the market. I doubt I'll ever use them again. You can see in the photos I attached it with the clip to my Shoei RF-1400 helmet. If you want to talk to other riders there is a upgraded model for that. For the money you can't go wrong--please don't buy all of them before I get the chance to buy at least one more for my other helmet!

Of course this is no Sena or Cardo, but man I’ll tell you for the price; hands down really nice. Yes, if your bike is a straight piped or no mufflers it probably won’t be loud enough. Connects really easy like any other Bluetooth device and connects to your phone the second you turn it on. The value definitely out weighs the price 10 fold. Used it 4-5 times and haven’t had to charge it. So far good battery life.

I got the xgp x1 in today and was honestly pretty excited after reading reviews for it. Took all my helmet lining out and figured where to put the speakers for the best sound. After setup went for a ride and it sounded good lay at low speeds and couldn’t hear a thing at 50mph or higher. I’m honestly disappointed they aren’t louder. There no way I’d be able to hear my wife or kids or anyone on the phone let alone enjoy a casual ride with music. The sound quality was good and I like the device itself but the sound should be much louder. It’s like having my AirPods at quarter volume with these at max volume. Mind you I have a 750 with cobra pipes and it’s not a crazy loud bike. But even at idle it’s still not very hearable.

Exactly as described, easy install. My first call they said I sounded far away like a fish bowl. Speakers are a bit staticy. Probably won't notice while ripping down the road, but we'll see here soon.

Easy installation and connected to my phone with ease. The issue is the volume is not anywhere close to being loud enough. I got this so i can listen to music while riding.. Tried it with volume all the way up on my phone and the Bluetooth device. I have a cbr 600rr and at 55mph can't even make out the songs. This would be great if it came with better speakers.
