Features
- High-Strength Polyester Construction: Crafted with premium polyester fibers, this outdoor rope offers 10% extra length (up to 220 ft) and comes in three diameters (3/8", 1/2", 3/4") for versatile use. Its bright orange color ensures high visibility, while maximum tension ratings of 3,430-8,626 lbs guarantee durability for demanding tasks.
- Exceptional Load-Bearing Performance: Engineered for safety, the rope features a mechanical woven outer layer with break strengths up to 89 KN (3/4" model). Whether hauling heavy equipment or securing loads, its odorless, abrasion-resistant design prioritizes long-term reliability across construction, rescue operations, and outdoor adventures.
- Reinforced Double-Braided Design: Combining 48-strand external braids with a twisted inner core (12 strands depending on size), this dual-layer structure resists fraying while maintaining flexibility. Knots hold securely without slippage, making it ideal for rigging, towing, or camping setups.
- Multi-Scenario Versatility: From urban maintenance and HVAC installations to emergency rescues and camping, this rope adapts effortlessly. Heat-sealed ends prevent unraveling, and its lightweight yet rugged build ensures easy handling in wet, muddy, or high-friction environments.
- Professional-Grade Safety Features: Every cut end is precision heat-fused for immediate use, eliminating the risk of fraying. Choose from three sizes tailored to specific needs: 3/8" (18 KN) for lightweight tasks, 1/2" (36 KN) for medium-duty jobs, and 3/4" (89 KN) for extreme heavy-duty applications.

This worked well for me in the tests I ran, but I didn't have any falls. I used it for climbing into a tree using two prussiks as ascenders, and then coming back down using a figure 8. Rope seems to be made pretty well. Good quality rope. I got this to replace a sisal rope that had deteriorated. I can use knots such as hitches and bowlines without a problem but you can't braid a loop into the end. It takes a while to relax from the coil that it comes in so take that into account when getting ready to use it. It is plenty strong to pull trees but I don't think I would trust it for safety use such as climbing. When cutting, make sure you seal the ends.

Although I leave the huge trees to experts, I often will tackle smaller trees. A few years ago I had a tall but skinny pine tree to remove. I used a rope with an old heavy padlock tied to the end, had a friend hold the lower end while I threw the padlock just above an upper limb at an angle. It took a few tries, but eventually I got the padlock to wrap around the tree above the limb. It was secure. I had my friend pull in the direction I wanted the tree to fall, which was to go between a nice dogwood and a kid's tree house / slide structure. I wanted to make sure it didn't hit the slide. Just as the cut to drop the tree was beginning to crack, a very slight breeze came on suddenly and started pushing the tree the wrong way. The rope I was using was not strong enough to control the fall but I didn't want it to pop and lose all control. We got the tree down but couldn't exert enough control to prevent it from swiping the side of the slide enough to push it slightly off its base. It could have been much worse - it could have wiped out the structure. From that moment I realized I needed to have some suitably strong rope to guide trees down. Also, I learned the power of a sudden and unexpected breeze. This rope is rated at 3430 lbs so it should definitely be strong enough for purposes such as this. It measures exactly 3/8 inch, although it looks a little bigger. The inner braid (at the end I photographed) is fully heat fused, but the outer braid is not completely fused. That's not terribly difficult to fix manually using a charcoal lighter. I'm leaving the rope wrapped up until I need it for the next project. 4.5/5.0
