  • Reliable pasture grass
Style: Forage Seed
After trying other brands of pasture grass, I tried this one last year. Heavy rains in the fall kept us from reseeding then. So we waited until it was warm enough and reseeded in March of this year. We (and the goats) are very happy with the grass that filled in. I'll be buying this brand again and reseeding every season. ... show more

It did ok. Wasn’t the best but I could take part of the blame. But yes a lot did come up. So that why 5 star.

  • Good seed but follow the directions.
Style: Forage Seed
The seed is good quality stuff. However it does take a good while to germinate if you only spread it on the ground. I have some hilly pasture ground that I can't till with a tractor which is what the bag wants. I spread it on the ground in hopes of the frost pushing it into the soil. This worked but it took over a month to see results. The small amount that I tested by tilling sprouted in a week. So just be patient with it. ... show more

  • didn't sprout until weather cooled
Style: Forage Seed
I'm in central california spread this on summer irrigated pasture, mostly bermuda & clover; over-grazed. Didn't see a huge difference (some, was satisfied but not impressed) until this fall. Now I can literally see the "trails" of this seed I spread around the pasture - I should have taken pictures to post but... (maybe take this as a legit review?) Now I'm very impressed by this seed mixture ... show more

  • I am amazed at the grass that grew from this product!
Style: Forage Seed
I live in Western Pennsylvania, I did a lot of reading on planting springtime grasses. I waited until the ground temperature was above 55 degrees which was May 4th for this spring and spread this seed using a seed broadcaster bag. I planted right over existing pasture which really needed more grass due to high traffic areas due to horses and thinning of existing pasture. I am really impressed at the grass that is growing. I did keep my horses off of this for 4 weeks. This was exactly what I needed for our pasture! I will buy again when the pasture becomes thin or for high traffic areas. I have wasted a lot of money on seed in the past, this stuff really grew! ... show more

  • Good for annual seed mix.
Style: Forage Seed
This is a good seed if you spread in the spring vs fall where the majority of the seed is an annual type grass.

  • Non-specific
Style: Forage Seed
I was trying to get teff seed and was routed to this. So, OK, but could not find anywhere what kind of seed this package DID contain. I was specifically trying to steer clear of fescue. I still dont know if it contains a significant amount of the dreaded fescue.
