There are scooters out there that you will be able to start right up, year after year, with minimal maintenance. This is not one of them. If you are looking for a scooter that is mechanically and cosmetically perfect the day it gets to your driveway, head to a powersports dealer and spend $3500 on a Honda (plus tax/title/fees, of course). However, if you are willing to tinker around, you will not find a better deal than a Chinese scooter. Yes, you'll need to do initial assembly. While you're at it, you should torque and loctite EVERY bolt on the bike. Change the engine and gear oil before you ever start the scooter. Probably not the worst idea to change out the brake fluid as well. Fuel lines will be terrible, replace them right away. Same for the drive belt in the CVT. Check your valves, and adjust them accordingly. Take the break-in period seriously, max 25 mph for the first 100 miles, then max 40 mph for the next 200. After that, check the valves and change the oil again and slowly work your way up to max speed, while still being gentle on the throttle and brakes up til 600 total miles. After that, check the valves and change the oil again. Then just follow the maintenance schedule in the owner's manual. Do these steps and you’ll have a great, reliable bike at an unreal price. The aftermarket for parts for these scooters is unreal, which is good because after the break in, you’ll probably want to tune it to fit your driving style. I’d start with RollingWrenchDenver on YouTube, his videos are incredibly detailed and helpful. My order went quite smoothly, it arrived one week after I purchased it. The driver brought his 18 wheeler to my driveway to unload the bike and was gone in 10 minutes. The bike had a couple dings in the bodywork from shipping, nothing serious, but that's the risk you take when you buy one of these. I just finished my initial assembly and the bike is looking good. I haven't started it up yet, as I am going through the process I described above. I will come back and update this review if anything were to change. Also worth bearing in mind, motorcycle shop rates are $100/hour (your rate may vary depending on location). Some of them will not touch a Chinese bike. Before you buy this bike, I recommend that you be comfortable with a wrench, or at least willing to learn. Even in a worst-case scenario where you accidentally destroy the engine by goofing up a modification, you can get a brand new engine for $400. ... show more

Was missing bolts. The manual was even for the right scooter. The dvd was japanese and wouldn't even play on our dvd players. Came with no instructions on how to put bike together. Peices were broke. I was not happy

The product was fine. The seller is a nightmare. I have reached out multiple times about the registration . I can not get a tag on this scooter because I never received the registration. I’m incredibly frustrated it has been six months now

I ordered this 150cc Scooter off of Amazon 3/3/2021 received it delivered to my house 3/12/2021 It arrived to my house packaged in a shipping crate... arrived undamaged. I had to assemble a few parts. If a person has some mechanical knowledge this is a breeze. This took me like two hours to assemble... I took my time. Next day I got a gallon of fuel....93 octane which a gallon and a quarter will fill it up. Took two tries of the starter and it fired right up. Wanted to say this Scooter is a TaoTao Quantum 150cc. I got mine in the Red color and I attached a photo of mine. I love this scooter and it runs perfect. It looks awesome and I have had people make nice comments about it when they see it. It will get up to 50mph no problem. I bought a front disks Lock with alarm off Amazon soon after I got this scooter. It looks so good. When I park it in a parking lot I want it to be protected even tho the front steering can lock with the ignition key. You have good underseat storage and it comes with an included rear lockable rear Trunk. Out of all the 150cc scooters out there I would recommend this one. I've been riding mine 5 days a week for over a month and it has given me no problems at all. I don't abuse the engine and still going through my 300 mile break in period on the engine.
