Do I need to change the oil before the first ride? Yes — you must change the engine oil before the first ride. The factory fill is break-in lubricant only, not for extended use. What should I do if my vehicle arrives damaged? Before signing the LTL freight delivery receipt, inspect the vehicle carefully. Note any damage on the receipt before signing — do not sign a clean receipt for a damaged shipment. Does the vehicle come assembled, or do I need to assemble it? The Storm DLX 150 arrives 85% pre-assembled from the factory. You will attach the front wheel (intermediate — align brake caliper), handlebar clamp, front fender, number plate, rear shock absorber, and battery. What does the wa-rranty cover, and what is excluded? Limited Wa-rranty: 1-year frame (structural defects), 90-day parts (manufacturing defects). Wear items excluded — tires, brake pads, chain, spark plugs, bulbs. Battery wa-rranty 90 days. Handled by our U.S.-based support team. Is this vehicle street legal? Bike is amazing, I’m 185lbs and 5’9” and it’s perfect, goes 55mph. Easy to assemble. Does wheelies, very happy. Customer service was not great, was told I had to be present for delivery or I’d have to pay additional 400$ to ship it back. I tried to reschedule the delivery and there was no compromise and then when I got home that day it was sitting in the driveway, yet the delivery date wasn’t for 2 weeks. End result it all worked out.

Although if you're short, be prepared to do some serious modifications. The second hole on the bracket that holds the shock that is there specifically for short people to move the shock and pin it in that hole, is not accessible. The shape of the shock itself does not allow clearance for the holes to line up to insert the pin to hold the shock in place. Both the distributor and the manufacturer are aware of this issue and neither could give two craps about it. So, if you're a younger person who is still growing, well, sucks to be you, go ride something else until you're taller. If you're an adult and not likely to grow anymore. At least not vertically. Then whip out your dremel or small cut off saw, cut through the bracket that holds the top part of the shock (the part on the bike not the actual shock), thus rendering your new bike forever shortened, (hence DO NOT do this if you're still growing) cause there's no going back. But if you're short like me (5ft 4in female) then WHALAA! You're now the proud owner of a heck of a little bike for the money. This fun little street legal (I don't know what that one reviewers issue was but I got mine plated right away easy peasy), is a great little learning or reaquainting yourself bike. Was easy to assemble, arrived a week early, heck even the delivery driver was super friendly. All around great purchase.

Great little Bike- I am 61 years old, 195#, veteran motorcycle rider and builder- Like most of that compare to this bike a carb upgrade is a good idea -I purchased a NIBBI PE26 Carburetor kit for $80 on Amazon-During assembly I cleaned up the wiring behind the headlight with zip ties- It is a good idea to break the motor in and run it through a few heat cycles and change the oil between until there is no metallic objects seen in the oil- I used leaded race fuel for the break in period and recommend it or E-Free fuel for the life of the bike-After breaking in the bike correctly and warming I rode the bike pretty hard and it Rips and It is a lot of fun -The electric start is great and the kick starter works just as well- You need to watch the chain for stretching and you will need to adjust it- Being 195 pounds guy, I chose to upgrade the chain as well- A cheap chain and a heavy ride will lead to a lot of chain stretching- Changing the oil and running E-free fuel are the two best thing you can do to protect your investment.

Not very pleased so far , rear shock is not adjustable due to poor engineering. Not able to flip the shock either. Was a big part of why I went with this bike , my wife is too short for it now. She struggles to get on it . Not able to get the bike started yet . Fuel goes straight through the carburetor, the float is stuck hopefully, tried tapping on carb with screwdriver. Fuel is full , swapped out oil . Battery is strong . Just not getting fuel because is goes straight out the overflow line

Bike rides great came in a week or or so, definitely be really easy on it for the break in period (150 miles) I’m at about 250 miles now and I’ve invested about $300 and it rides like a Honda I bought the bike about 2 months ago. So the good is it rides smooth suspension feels great shifts great, breaks are great, electric start works good unless it’s cold as expected. The bad is the carb needs an idle adjustment after about 80 miles it wouldn’t stay at idle unless done otherwise may have to adjust the choke because it can come loose, the headlight isn’t water proof and isn’t very bright at all, the seat isn’t very comfortable but if you’re like me and like to trail ride and your mostly standing up and the suspension makes up for the stiff seat, the factory tires and tubes are junk and barely hold air just buy dunlops it’s like $150 for tubes and tires, and lastly is a 4 speed and it’s neutral down 4 up. Overall the price for what you get is definitely worth it but I’d recommend tires, tubes, a good light bar if you ride at night and 16 tooth front sprocket and a protaper or D.I.D chain

After reading many reviews and the price, I expected to have some issues with product. The bike arrived properly packed for shipping. The assembly requires someone who knows a bit about how things work. That said, no special tools required. I was able to lift unit up on upside down Home Depot 5 gallon painters bucket. Just needed my girl to help install rear unishock mounting bolt while l lifted up on the suspension a bit. Other than that, a one man job. Once I had it all together, fired right up. Battery was fully charged. Just add gas. Front turn signals were sired backwards from harness, easy to correct. Highly recommend this product, just know your not getting a 6-10K (Honda, Yamaha etc)

Good bike for the money, to lower just flip the shock over switch the bushings and install upside down,, I also lowered the forks 5/8 " ,Im 5'5" and can flat foot it now, I changed the front sprocket to a 15 tooth ,top end now is 63mph, fun bike

Totally amazed by the quality of this bike for the money. In the pic you can see it is a bit smaller than my Honda 450RL. It is 100 lbs lighter and a joy to ride. It comes with items I had to pay extra for on my Honda like rim locks, gear indicator and tachometer. It took us 3 hours to build it but we were having fun and ate lunch. It started on the first kick! (The electric start didn't work so we kick started it but afterwards realized the electic start works if you apply the brake). Only two negatives are the seat is pretty cheap/hard. For the short test ride was not a problem but wondering how it will feel after a dirt bike outing, and the other oddity is neutral at the down and 4 gears up. Will take a brain switch to get used to that when most bikes these days have neutral between 1st and 2nd. If it does well in the dirt I'm going to buy another one, this one was for my son, and I want one now!
