We bought this for our son’s Christmas gift. My husband assembled and took it for a spin before hiding it. So far, the quality seems to be fine. He assembled two of these while I had the kids at the movies. They arrived within a week of ordering. Took a few kicks to start it up (but the hubs didn’t have the key turned). For a first bike, it isn’t bad. Comparing to local dirt bike dealers, you’ll pay a lot more. The shipping is up there in price but again, if you bought locally, you’re looking to pay more than the cost of this and shipping combined. ... show more

  • Throttle Assembly defective
Color: Blue
The media could not be loaded. The throttle assembly sticks causing the bike to run wide open… son got thrown from the bike… also had to me as I was sitting in 1st gear and with my hand resting on throttle is went into full throttle with no turn… the bike kicked out from under me, accept I was able to catch it and hit the kill switch… I have had multiple mechanics look at the throttle system and all have advised that it is defective… the bike runs but this issue with the throttle makes it to dangerous for a semi novice rider. ... show more

  • You get what you pay for.
Color: Blue
This is an acceptable purchase for under $1,000 for an 11-year-old new to the sport without making an investment of several thousand dollars on a new Yamaha or spending the time looking for a usable used bike. After assembling the bike and trying to operate it for the first time the gear shift lever broke. Company was responsive and replaced the part at no cost. I am still trying to figure out how the bike works. It is described as semi-automatic and there is no clutch on the handlebars but the gear needs to be engaged. The owner's manual does not provide an explanation of how this works. ... show more

  • Again, you get what you pay for.
Full of problems. Tank leaked, carb would not adjust for idle. Company replaced both the tank and carb, no problems. However, during my grandson's first ride, the carburetor started pouring fuel out the overflow tube. Float must be defective. Will be trying to take the float out of the old carb and place it in the replacement... so far, has been a disappointment as a purchase. As someone else mentioned, I guess you get what you pay for, however, with shipping, it was over 1k cost, and one would think it could make it through 1 ride without failing. ... show more
