We got this printer for my daughter for her birthday. When it arrived, the door was broken. Aoseed replaced the entire unit promptly. The second printer was perfect, and we loved using it. Unfortunately we've had some problems with the print head clogging. However, I think some of the time the problem was that the filament was wrapped around itself on the spool and wouldn't feed properly. Still not sure. After some troubleshooting, Aoseed sent me a new print head that was very easy to install--2 screws and done. It worked well for a while but then had some software problems. I might be butchering this explanation, but it was essentially a faulty motherboard. Once again, I sent the unit back and got a brand new replacement. It is working perfectly, and my son is currently printing collapsible katanas for his fidget shop at the school craft fair. It's amazing the things you can print with the X-Maker. WE LOVE IT!

Super easy to use for children and adults. The software is very simple and straightforward. The printer functions and produces high quality products. I would highly recommend. Value for the the price, the ease of the software doing the slicing for you makes it so much more fun!

Don’t buy - 100% not what you expect. Update - seller requested more info. Issues are as follows: (1) The printer itself feels less substantial than I anticipated (for the $$). Cheap plastic (2) The app that is used to design or send pre-designs is very buggy/ takes much starting and restarting to initiate a print. It seems to have issues with storing profiles. It also isn’t what you’re expecting if you think it will teach your kids how to design things. As an adult, I can’t figure this app out. At best, your kids will pick some designs and ask you to figure out how to get them printed. (3) The 3d models shown in the advertisements and the app are not what is printed because the printer only supports 1 color at a time. Have no idea how to make a multi color 3d object and haven’t found any guidance online. (4) this isn’t a big issue, but it takes a lot longer than you’re expecting. Small objects (2 inches high) will require 3-4 hours. Any of the pre-designs will need to be done overnight.

The media could not be loaded. Awesome! This 3D printer is perfect for my 12yr old son. It’s super easy to use and with the app you can print a much more variety of toys. I would give it 5 stars but upon piecing together the printed toys, you will find they break easily and you need to reprint the broken piece which can take anywhere from 10-50min depending on the piece.

The media could not be loaded. I bought it for my 9-year-old grandson's birthday gift. Knowing nothing about 3D printer, I read some reviews on the internet and it seemed this X-MAKER by AOSEED is the easiest one for beginner. It was pre-calibrated, leveled that we don't have to deal with all the complicated adjustments and problem-solving frustration. It turned out to be a wonderful purchase so far after a few weeks of use. It was effortless to set up. The only problem encountered was that we installed the filament coil upside down, the wire didn't feed through smoothly and got tangled. Other than that we pretty much had to do nothing mechanically and just let the machine work its magics. Keep in mind this printer only prints 1 color at a time. So there will be some painting needed for multi-color project and parts are being printed in one batch. We printed several test models from the jump-drive provided, and unloaded several programs from the app. The dragon in the egg was the first project he did for himself. It was already taken to his father's office for show. Next will be the "Anniversary gift" for Mommy & Daddy and many more projects are in the queue. My grandson learned how to work with the machine and enjoyed it so much!
