The media could not be loaded. My Ramblings I thought I was getting lazier; however, I realized, I was getting smarter (scary huh). I realized investing in a pool cleaning robot is freeing my time to do an amazing list of other things (some fun, some meh). Seriously. I haven't touched my hose, vac plate, or anything more than a skimming net and pole in forever. So let's take a closer look at why (or just watch the vid). To the Point or TL;DR Cleaning 32'x16'x9' vinyl inground pool. Great value for the money, Cordless/Hoseless, Cleans all the nooks and crannies, Climbs walls with ease, Large debris basket with fine mesh, Sucks up leaves and Really small pieces, Easy to clean, Runs for several hours on one charge, Couple three hours for recharge, No App needed (but app will give you more control), I could go on, but let's just assume it's good. I own and operate several pool cleaning bots, including some that are way more expensive. The Wybot series definitely holds its own and has good value. The Good Stuff I have taken a quick internal calculation of how much time and stress this little robot has taken off my weekly schedule and easily determined it has solid value and return on investment. It is so easy to operate. Just charge it, turn it on, drop it in, return in a couple hours, remove it, clean it, charge it, rinse and repeat. I like that I'm not required to put yet another app on my phone to do something in my life. It works just great without it. Last easily 2 hours, and takes just a couple three to recharge. I am currently torturing it with heavy tree debris (love/hate my trees), and cold water. Doesn't faze it. Anywho, it's a solid piece of equipment. Can I offer you a cup of koolaid? The Quick Tip Stuff Don't forget to rinse your bot when you are cleaning your debris basket. Only takes a moment, but gets that extra chlorine, chemicals, and salt off it before being recharged and stored. The Bad Stuff Nothing bad. I have been running another, lower series Wybot for a while now, with no issues. I expect the same from this one. Who May Use/Like It Those wanting to enjoy their pool more, save time, and avoid stress. Or just sip margaritas while watching it do it's thing. Me Final Thoughts This is my fifth cordless pool robot, second Wybot (that is still going strong), and frankly (or whatever they call you), it is something I should have done much earlier in my pool ownership. The media could not be loaded. This pool cleaner does an excellent job. It cleans my entire 18’x36’ in ground swimming pool in less than two hours. It’s very simple to clean and it recharges quickly. We were very nervous about buying a new pool cleaning robot because the last one we bought had problems navigating our pool and frequently got stuck which was very frustrating. This cleaner does not have that problem at all. Here are my pros and cons: Pros -Long battery life. The directions said the battery would last 90 minutes but has routinely lasted more than two hours -Very fast. The batter life is great but not necessary because it cleans so quickly. -Lightweight. Even when you are pulling it out of the pool and it is full of water, it’s not that heavy. -It’s smart. Our previous pool robot would always get stuck in the spots where the slanting sides in the deep end of our pool met the bottom. You’d constantly need to reposition it. This one gets stuck for a second but ALWAYS gets itself unstuck. It’s amazing! -Comes with a retrieval hook. I can’t believe none of the other pool cleaners we’ve used haven’t had this. It’s just a simple plastic hook that connects to our existing pool poles. -The app. I’m conflicted about the app because I had hoped it could do more BUT it does allow you to enter the shape of your pool and choose whether you want it to climb the walls or just stick to cleaning the bottom. Cons -It only has one filter basket. Almost every other pool cleaning robot we’ve owned has had two built in filters OR one big cleaning bag. This has not been a problem for us because our pool never gets that dirty but if your pool gets a lot of leaves or debris, it might be an issue for you. These robots aren’t great for initial opening cleaning also because they can’t really filter silt. -The app. This was something I’d hoped could do more. It is limited. Also, you need to connect to Wi-Fi and our pool is just on the outer periphery of our home’s Wi-Fi range. Also, I don’t love that I have to have my phone in my hand while working around the pool. It feels like an accident waiting to happen. -A little tough to sink. Let me explain-All of these pool robots need to be “rocked” into the pool to release trapped air pockets otherwise they float. This one needs to be almost completely flipped over to release the air. Fortunately, it’s very lightweight so this isn’t all that difficult. The directions say to hold it against the side of the pool, but that is often not adequate to release all the trapped air. All in, I’m extremely happy with this pool robot. It’s the best one we’ve had in many years.

The worst thing about owning the pool is the cleaning and upkeep. I have a guy come every week to keep my pool in tip top shape but there's still plenty of work to be done between visits. And, to be honest, I don't want to do this work myself. I've tried out some robotic pool cleaners before with mixed results. The Osprey 700 Pro by Wybot is in another league from any of them. I don't know if this is the 'state of the art' when it comes to pool cleaning robots but it has to be close. My previous robot had a long cord which worked OK but sure seemed awkward to me. This unit operates on a beefy 9200mAh battery. I've run it for an hour and a half no problem and it could likely have gone longer. Even better, the battery recharges very quickly for such a high capacity battery. I was back up and running in about 3 hours. What's really cool about this device is that it can clean every surface of your pool--it cleans out the water removing leaves and other debris--but also the floor and walls. You read that right--the thing actually **climbs up the walls** to keep your pool clean. It's also extremely entertaining to watch. Other than that, it's basically a Roomba vacuum cleaner, only for a swimming pool. You can set the cleaning mode via a smartphone app along with other Roomba-like settings. The product description says that it's for iOS only but as of 4/19/23 there's also an Android app. You can just search in the Play Store and find it. I like to mess around with gadgets and technology, so I'll be testing out other pool cleaning robots when they come across my transom. For now, at least, this is the top of class. Highly recommended!
