What a beauty! This knife is very, very sharp, slices and dices vegetables with no effort. Perfect curve in the blade for rocking but also will slice well. Feels good in your hand. I wanted a knife with the functionality of a big chef knife but smaller and this knife is perfect. Knife came with a large scratch on the handle and box had clearly been opened and tampered with prior to receiving. The handle was also greasy so it had clearly been touched before. The protective plastic sheet that goes over the knife in the box was underneath the knife itself, indicating it was clearly opened. The box itself is ALSO greasy and looks to be in terrible conditioning. Blade is still nice, sharp, and thankfully clean but I’m very much not satisfied with the fact that this item doesn’t appear to be brand new, especially considering the price I paid and there was no indication this would be the case. I got this for my dad for Father’s Day which is right around the corner so I’m cleaning it and gifting it for the sake of convenience and I’m sure it still works just fine.
