Description

Wusthof Classic Ikon full-tang knives are precision forged from a single piece of exclusive Wusthof high-carbon stainless steel. The handle design is made of a highly durable synthetic material known as Polyoxymethylene (POM), which features a tighter molecular structure to resist fading and discoloration. The half bolster allows for the knife to be honed and sharpened the entire length of the blade and the heel bolster provides added balance. Each Wusthof Classic Ikon knife features a computer controlled cutting edge to ensure the final edge of the blade is precise and uniform from the tip to the heel. The Wusthof PEtec angle and tapered cutting edge reduces drag when slicing foods, allowing for seamless and effortless cutting. Each knife blade is completely buffed and polished by hand. Wusthof Classic Ikon knives are made in Solingen, Germany with a lifetime warranty.

These knives are awesome. Recommended all around. The 26 piece set is overkill for most everyone's needs including mine, I just had money to splurge. The only reason I gave it a 4/5 is the wooden knife block doesn't come close to the high quality standards of the knives. Even the Wusthof logo on the knife block was visually crocked, which was very disappointing seeing as how the knife block is the first thing seen during unboxing. Pic next to my 15 year old Walmart knife set containing awful knives that still has a nicer wooden knife block. If ur looking to upgrade ur knives u really don't need this set. Buy a smaller nice custom knife block and populate it one awesome Wusthof knife at a time. ... show more

Blow the sawdust out of the block before installing knives. Otherwise excellent product.
