  • Amazingly warm
This jacket is amazing keeps me warm for hours even on the coldest day. Power pack lasts 2 days using coat all day. Would definitely recommend

  • Well made, stylish and waterproof!
This is a very nice, no nonsense jacket. I purchased it in black which gives me the flexibility to wear it whether I'm working, going out for the evening, or just to lazy around. When I wear the hood, my neck and ears feel very warm even though there is no heating element in that hood. When I take my gloves off to engage fine motor skills, I place them in the two side pockets. They stay warm in the pockets as long as I keep the heating elements active. I'm thinking about picking up a camo for my hunting endeavors. Needless to say, I will buy this jacket again! ... show more

  • Well worth the price! Great for cold motorcycle rides!
I daily my motorcycle so I waited for a cold (relative) day to write this. The jacket is thicker than it looks in the pictures and fits about perfect for the size charts. The inside lining is warm and soft to the touch. I wear an XL usually but could have dropped down to Lg if i was just wwaring it out and about outside. Its nice to have the extra room while riding. Also holds up to the wind whipping the overhang. It was 48 this morning going into work so I threw on my Army issued tank thermal shirt with the jacket. I put the jacket on high to see what the hype was about and I twll ya what, even with a heavy head wind, I felt nothing. Probably could gone without the thermal or at least turned it down to a lower setting. If any down side to the jacket it would be that it can kind of act like a sail in a head wind and I have to un plug, then plug back in the battery for it to turn on. Not crazy annoying but is worth mentioning. Doesn't bother me so no need for a return. Overall WELL worth the cost compared to others. 10/10 ... show more

  • Why Wulcea over Milwaukee?
Size: Medium Color: Black
I’ve accepted that I’m getting older and not nearly as cold-tolerant as I once was… so it was time to go heated-jacket shopping. If all of Wulcea’s marketing claims about their graphene heated apparel are true, there’s a lot to like—safer, faster heating, and the possibility that it may still function even if a heating sheet is damaged. It all sounds great. That said, in my mind Wulcea initially felt like just another company selling a product that might not live up to the hype. Milwaukee, on the other hand, is a well-known brand that already makes heated gear. They offer their newer Hexon heating technology, use batteries I already own, have generally positive reviews, and appear to be very well made. At their price point, they should be. I knew I wanted something closer to a lightweight jacket—something I could wear over a base layer but under a heavier coat. The thinking was simple: closer contact to the body and added insulation on top should result in better heating. Unfortunately, there aren’t many jackets that truly fit that use case. Milwaukee offers a hoodie and a vest, but both have limited heating zones. That pushed me toward trying the Axis and Tough Shell jackets instead. Here’s where Milwaukee gets frustrating. Every jacket variant has a different heating-pad layout—some with multiple zones, others with only two. Both the Axis and Tough Shell are well-made jackets. They fit under my Carhartt work coat and would also work well as standalone jackets. However, they have a couple of notable shortcomings. First, the battery placement just isn’t comfortable. The bulky battery sits either at your lower back or below your ribcage in the front. More importantly, the heating performance itself is underwhelming. It works, but it’s lackluster. Back to the “no-name” Wulcea options. I first tried their fleece hoodie. While the heating was good and the battery placement—higher on the chest—was much better, the hoodie itself was too bulky and acted like a magnet for dirt, pet fur, and hair. That left one final option before resigning myself to a vest: the Wulcea soft shell jacket. Did it turn out to be perfect for my needs? Not quite—but it’s close enough that I’m sticking with it until something better comes along. It has multiple heating pads that create more of an enveloping warmth, rather than just a few isolated hot spots like the Milwaukee jackets. The pads around the biceps are especially noticeable and make the Wulcea feel more effective overall. The construction and seams on the Wulcea soft shell look good, but I suspect the Milwaukee jackets would ultimately hold up better over time, as their fabrics feel tougher. That’s an acceptable trade-off for me, since I plan to wear the Wulcea under another coat most of the time. It’s also less expensive and seems to heat up faster. I still wouldn’t say I found exactly everything I wanted, but maybe in another year or two the perfect option will exist—and it just might come from Wulcea. ... show more

  • Nice and warm.
Size: Medium Color: Black
It's heavier than I expected but feels really good while wearing it. The pictures made it look like it was going to be a thinner jacket but this could definitely be used even without the heat on and still keep you warm. Battery sits in an inside pocket on the left front side by your stomach but isn't too noticeable. The heat is even in all the zones so you don't get that annoying hot spot like if you were using a heating pad or something where one spot is burning you while others are cold. I was curious before purchasing if the Milwaukee jacket battery would be compatible but the connection is different although I see adapters online for them so it could probably still work although I don't think it's needed since this battery seems well made. The battery also has a USB port so you can actually charge your phone from it as well and there's even a convenient inner pocket by the battery pocket to put a phone in while it's being charged. Overall I'm very happy with this and can't wait for it to be colder so I can really test it out but I'm in Texas so it's 78° outside today in November. ... show more

  • Best purchase I made in 2025!!!!
Size: X-Large Color: Dark Camo
This jacket is an excellent choice for the winter weather. Opening the package, I was not expecting the coat to be as thick and well-insulated as it is...and that's before inserting the battery. The shell of the coat is a very nice surprise...it's slick, smooth..and you can't get it accidently jabbed or scratched ( I walk at a local park and there are many branches that I have to get through on one path and the coat made it through w/o a scratch!!) The interior is warm and the jacket has many pockets and they are perfectly placed. The heating on this jacket is the best feature. I love the snugness that it provides out in the elements. I walk, like I said, and I don't worry about being cold, snow, rain, sleet, etc... this jacket handles all of it with ease. I liked this jacket so much, I purchased another one for my child, as I think it's a quality gift to give someone and they love it!!! ... show more

  • One of the best jackets at a affordable price
Size: Medium Color: Dark Camo
I’ve fully tested the jacket — including a full battery charge — I’m honestly impressed. The heat works great, and depending on what you’re doing, you don’t even need the heated setting on at all. I took a chance on the color since I wasn’t sure how it would look, but I’m really happy with it. Overall, I’m very pleased with the purchase and definitely recommend it for anyone riding motorcycles or just need that extra heat . Great jacket, great performance. Btw it’s snowing where I am at the moment I spend about 30mins outside and every single area where the heat is supposed to be at is working 100% ... show more

  • really like the fur lined, really dislike the soft shell
Size: X-Large Color: Dark Camo
I thought I would leave a review since it may help guide others in their purchases. For reference this is my 2nd time owning a heated coat. My other one from a different brand was 7 years old at this point and needed replacing. This review will also include 2 items, the "fur lined jacket" and the "soft shell jacket" since I bought both from this brand, more on why below. In regard to the "fur lined jacket": 4 out of 5 stars I like the fit, chart says I would be a large but usually i prefer extra large for better room across shoulders. 5'11 , 200 lb male and extra large is loose enough around the body i could wear layers beneath if needed and arm length is about right. I like the button to activate being on the inside. I like the look of the dark camo color. I like the heating zone in the neck area. My previous jacket did not have that. Its a great feature. I like the heated area at the front is aligned with the pockets and will warm your hand palms. Again something that my previous jacket did not have and I appreciate in this one. The battery pocket seems to be well reinforced and appropriate size for the battery. I had to make repairs to that pocket several times over the years on my previous one from other brand because the battery was damaging the pocket . The battery is more rounded on all sides so hopefully will not tear thru the pocket over time. It warms up fast and on high setting gets quite warm. No complaints about the heating. Pocket layout on the "fur lined jacket" is fairly good. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 for 2 reasons. Reason #1 being the battery seems to lose connection with the jacket overnight and in order to use it the next day must unplug from coat and plug in again. This is going to add wear and tear over the years to that battery pocket. Reason #2 I think the battery pocket placement could have been better. Previous jacket from other brand had the battery pocket up higher in the chest area. Currently this one is lower, and directly above one of the heating zones. Heat rises. After an extended use the battery was very warm, and may affect longevity of the battery over time. But for the most part I really like this coat and hope it holds up well over the coming years. For me personally the "fur lined jacket" is more of a full on coat than a jacket. It is too much really for where I live in the pacific northwest. I wanted wind and rain protection and something to warm up for the few extra cold weeks of the year. I screwed up and should have bought a lighter jacket for more use during spring and fall also, the "fur lined jacket" will be used more for winter only. So I decided to also buy the "soft shell jacket" since that would be more in line with what I had previously. Review for the "soft shell jacket": 2 out of 5 stars Fit was good. I like the reinforced battery pocket. I like the neck warming zone. I like the hood style more on this one for my part of the country. It is a bit more lightweight than the fur lined. I like the button to activate being on the inside. I like the look of the dark camo color. I was hoping to love this jacket, but it misses the mark in many ways, mostly due to the pocket layout. The removal of the functional outer chest pocket and instead sleeve pockets I don't like. For me the ideal pocket holds a pack of smokes and a lighter, can not comfortably put those in the sleeve pockets then re zip them. From what I can tell the front warming zones and battery placement are the same from the fur lined to the soft shell. But the front pockets are raised up. It is not quite comfortable to put your hands in the pockets. With the heating zones down lower if you shove your hands fully in you can kinda warm your fingertips only so the hand warming feature is mostly gone. Also the left side hand pocket is directly in front of the inside battery pocket so putting your hand inside feels crowded since the battery is right there taking up space. Battery directly above a heating zone causes battery to get quite warm over a long duration use. Battery needs to be unplugged and plugged in again to use the next day. Overall review I am giving 3 stars. If you are looking for a coat, the fur lined one is nice and you will probably like it. If you are looking for a jacket, the soft shell misses the mark and you will probably dislike it. I will probably gift mine to someone else who may be less annoyed by the pocket layout. ... show more
