These cross bars were a perfect fit for my 2016 Subaru Crosstrek. Just make sure you take out the rubber spacers on the clamps – they aren't needed when installing on a Crosstrek. Otherwise, these crossbars are a simple install. Took me about 15 minutes. Just loosen all the screws, secure the clamps on the side rails, and tighten everything up. Then you can move them up and down the side rails to fit whatever accessories you want to attach to the car. I mounted a cargo basket to them and everything is super secure. And the best thing of all... WAY cheaper than OEM equipment and frankly, just as good quality as far as I can tell. ... show more

Have you ever wanted to see a kayak fly through the air on the highway? Well you could’ve if you were driving behind me. First trip with these bars, the plastic clamps broke from the top of the car and my kayak took flight. These cross bars are horribly designed and constructed, would not recommend. You’ll notice in the pictures, the bolt and threaded insert remained intact, the plastic clamp is resting alongside the highway with the other bar. Purchase at your own risk. The media could not be loaded. One of the ends failed to slide as it was intended to do, so I brought out the trusty rubber mallet! Needless to say, I thought I was going to break the end plastic piece due to it simply wouldn't budge. I don't know if it's a QC problem or it landed on the ground and wedged/bent up on that end? (View video) Regardless, after removing the bolts and adding some synthetic oil and a screwdriver to wedge it up to free it, it slid back and forth for the proper adjustment. ... show more

    • Quality and fit is perfect
I have a 2018 Subaru Impreza and these bars fit perfectly. Installation was quick and easy, and the bars are very secure. I can’t tell the difference between these and the OEM bars from Subaru, except for these being 1/4 of the price. The quality and fit are great, and they look nice on my car.

I just have my 2021 Subaru Forester. Since my son is going to college this August, so I have to prepare my Forester for packing big luggage. The detail installation manual is very helpful. I install it on my car all by myself. It's strong and shows no signs of loosing.

Easy fit and instillation. A minor point is tat the rubber pads fall out easily, which can be a pain. It was easy to put a touch of glue in the tracks so that they stay in place and are still easily removable is necessary.

Directions on how to install it is pretty straight forward. Also the crossbars are label front and back with arrows to which direction they go. it fit my 2013 crosstrek which will also fit imprezas years 12-17! They have adjustable sliders to extend the ends to make a perfect fit! Been using them for about 2 months so far with no issues. No wind noise on highway since they are aero dynamic! These are better than Subaru OEM! ... show more
