I like the different type of colors and the precise point. The clip is handy and it retracts the pen so you don’t get ink on a pocket that you clip it to. The ink had a good flow with no smearing.

I love the way these pens look! They look super chic. I personally prefer 0.7 points so I was a little skeptical about getting 0.5 but they were super juicy and write great!

I am not a journaler or a doodler at all ... just a person who's super picky about pens and wants all the cute colors. I mostly use my pens at work, and it use one until it runs out of ink then start another one (and it killed me a little to pop all the red tips off these today, I usually leave the tips on until I start using the pen). I value smooth even ink flow, no pooling, no scratching, no bleeding through post its, no ink transfer on my skin. These meet my needs based on this criteria, but there are a couple of details that place them in the "probably won't buy again" category. I have been using Sarasa 0.5 vintage color gel pens for a long time ... 2yrs I guess, and there's always ads for other brands with really pretty colors all over the place. I've been hesitant to buy them because if I don't like the way they write, I just either give them away or toss them, and i hate throwing away money. I couldn't resist the allure of these vintage pastels though, so I yolo'd it lol. They come in nice packaging, feels expensive and high quality. They're so cute at first glance upon opening the box. The first one I tested wrote well enough for my needs. I was excited that I might have found a new favorite pen! I will use these up, but here are the few fine details that will likely lead me back to Sarasa when I need a new pack: the plastic feels cheap in my hand. Not sure how to describe that, it's just isn't as nice to touch. Next is the click of the retracting mechanism. It clicks normally when you want the pen tip out, but when you click it closed, it doesn't make any noise or give any sort of click feeling. I found myself double checking it and thinking I'd messed something up. For someone who makes a quick note and then puts the pen back in their pocket dozens of times a day, that's frikkin annoying! Finally, they write every so slightly less smooth than the Sarasa, and some of the ink colors are super close in hue which was a bit disappointing. I included the Sarasa pen I had in my pocket at the time at the bottom of the swatches for comparison.

I got the classic colors set. LOVE the colors. Rich, deeper colors than the currently popular neon stuff. The ink flows smoothly and doesn't smudge or run as many other click pens do. As a lefty I really appreciate that. I like TUL pens and these are of similar quality for less money. Enjoy.

The media could not be loaded. I have had the pens considered “Writech Bright 0.5mm” for a little over a month now, here is my honest, unsponsored, unsolicited review: 1) The pens do seem to skip, or scratch when writing on all types of paper (80,100, college rule notebook) and that is still after giving each pen quite a bit of use, I do like that you can see through and notice which ones I have the most love! The ink doesn’t seem to smear unless I write on a label type surface! 2) To the naked eye, or reviewing note taking, the YELLOW pen doesn’t show up very good, worse than writing with a highlighter this includes anything black, brown or white paper, it does on camera- I will be throwing that one away, the yellow is complete waste (negative ⭐️). 3) The BROWN can be difficult to see at times, but nothing like the yellow! I may dispose of it as well. 4) The pens I am reviewing are very fine point (0.5mm) which I personally like for when I write in my old school style notebook planner, or other fine detail writing. Make sure you pay attention to the tip you prefer, it does make a difference, you could be disappointed. 5) I have had no (0) issues with the retraction of the pens. 6) The rubber grip seems to show a little more grime then other pens I have had in the past. The grip is comfortable. 7) Weight of the pen is light. These are attractive, decent quality pens for the price point, or maybe someone just starting to journal. Overall, the pens are good, just not necessarily my personal preference, and I doubt I would order again.

The colors are great and they all show up really well. The thinner tip is nice and I've had no problems with flooding. I have had just a couple issues of one or two getting jammed but a couple of scribbles clears that up.
