A bit short on the stated measurements as it's true length is 13". However the 1/2" hole fits nice and snug with a 1/2" driver.

This is a simple tool that is well made and provides extra leverage when you need it. It is the same concept as the "two wrench trick", but it is much more stable and less awkward. Plus, you can use either end of the wrench. Great thing to have in the tool box BEFORE you need it.

. . and it does have a half inch square hole in the end. Suitable for use with larger box end, spanners or combo wrenches. Smaller ones like 13mm or 1/2" might slip.

As I get older I appreciate tools like this a lot more. Work smarter not harder. This wrench extender allows me to apply more leverage with less effort. This is important when working of cars in the rust belt. Obviously this is a one size fits all tool so it you are using a smaller wrench it can be loose and one tip that I use is that I will put the wrench inside of the wrench extender and than wrap it with a little electrical tape to hold it in place so I can use it one handed. And if you need more leverage there is a square in the back of the wrench extender that you can apply a ratchet to.

I was working on a Honda Civic. I needed to change the serpentine belt and the YouTube video shows you use a wrench and add a second wrench to it for leverage, sometimes called double wrenching it. . I didn’t think it was safe and probably not a good idea. I saw this and got it. I put on a wrench I was using to loosen the tensioner and added this to the wrench for additional leverage and this thing worked very well! Good idea whoever came up with this idea.
