The stitching is nice, but the only thing he's not crazy about is the velcro closures in the back pockets, but he's okay with that enough to want more of these shorts in different colors. I bought my pair of Wrangler shorts back in 2019. Here we are in 2024.....5 years later. I've worn them every summer and they are STILL nice-looking. No holes, no wear spots. Nice & durable. I just ordered another 4 pairs.......

I'd give these shorts 5 stars except for the ridiculously small front 'cargo' pockets. Sure, there are four pockets in front, but good luck getting a cell phone in or out ANY of them. Back pockets are about the right size for a wallet, but sometimes I like to carry my wallet in front (for security) and not much luck doing that either. Aside from the pockets, the shorts fit well (longer inseam than some) meaning the shorts hit just at knee level, which is where men's cargo shorts should sit. Sizing is accurate. I bought these in four colors for a trip. Shorts are made well and have gone through several wash sizes and come out looking no worse for the wear. I would recommend trying these yourself and I will probably buy more. ... show more

I figured this year. It was time to get new summer shorts. The ones I have had were starting to look a little sad. I tried ordering a pair of these and I really like them both for comfort and for value. They are lightweight, but not sin. Many pockets. (note: they don't have one large pocket on each side. It's a group of smaller pockets, which is not great for cell phones.) For the price they are an excellent value and they look good on me. I've ordered 2 more pairs of different looks and they've all been great. The zippers can be a little finicky at times but not a dealbreaker. ... show more

As far as the quality of material, these were a bit weighty but if you're seeking quality in material weight is most often a good thing! So as far as the quality of the material these are of very good quality. My husband liked them so much I ordered a diff color of camouflage pattern. He is a senior lead Service Technician & Trainer of HVAC. So he wasn't wanting regular shorts as he uses his pockets to store small supplies, materials & tools so obviously these style are an excellent choice for anyone in his field, & or construction industry! However, while I can't say these are great shorts due to the fact on his third time wearing them to work his zipper broke. I did order him another pair days after him getting these yet those took a month to get here and apparently were just now misdelivered to my neighbors (still have to go grab them). Wish I could give an update and tell you they are great shorts but the fact he hasn't worn his other pair yet I'm leaving you with, he loves the quality and design of the shorts mostly though the extra side pockets are large enough he can store a couple hand tools while working in them. But, the misfortune of the zipper having broke within the 3rd time of wearing them isn't satisfying.... But I do know things happen so I wld still give a positive review bc of mere quality and design! ... show more
